“Was part of my New Orleans experience”

“Excellent price for resting your head”
I was a little nervous based on some of the reviews, however, they turned out to be not relevant. It is a no frills hotel, but it is clean and they try and make sure you are satisfied. No issues with the IHOP next door-no room service charges tacked on. Shuttle to the metro was fine. The location of the hotel is excellent near the interstate. Excellent choice of ethnic restaurants nearby!!
“Decent Hotel”
I stayed here when work was being done on my only bathroom. The room was comfortable and the shower felt great.
“Comfort Inn & IHOP.... a good combination”
My one night stay at this hotel was satisfactory. The staff were pleasant and accomodating, the room was quaint and cute, and satisfactory clean. The parking was under a carport leading into the hotel and it was free! There was a security guard patrolling the lot at night. Oh yeah, a big convenience was not having to drive out to eat when we could get on the elevator, go down to the lobby, walk through the lobby to an adjoining door that led into IHOP...one of our favorite quik and casual eateries....open 24 hrs. The hotel served our purpose.

The location was very conveniet for the purpose of our trip and we found reasonable the "room fee".
“An OK Place to Stay”
The hotel was clean, the staff was helpful and it is close to the interstate. It is an OK place to stay if you are not looking for any extras.
“Not a great crowd”
The hotel room itself is ok. But the crowd that I saw roaming in and around the hotel lobby is a bit scary.
“Customer service needs Improvement”
Hotel was located near eating places but they should work on their customer service skills. For an example, i was not aware that coupons was given for dinner or breakfast discount for I-Hop. The waiter at I-Hop informed me. In addiiton, attention should be given to the room furniture, the cover for my heating/air unit fell off when I turned the heat on, when I mentioned this i was informed someone would check on it the next day.
“Clean and Safe Hotel”
Hotel was clean and safe, which was my basic criteria. Maintenancewise the ice machine on my foor was broken for most of my stay and the elevator was marginal It was convenient to have the IHOP in the hotel although prices were higher than I expected. I will stay there again.
“Not worth the hassle”
The price was right at the time I was looking for rooms while visiting DC. The neighborhood was old, crowded, hard to drive around in. The roads and traffic situation was very congested. I could have stayed closer to town and had the same situation. I will stay right in DC next time or just across the river in Arlington at the least, even if I need to pay more. The hotel itself was mediocre, not worth the drive out of town.
