Great hotel and staff!! Nice pool and great view of Nazaré. Restaurant was excellent and drinks were great too!! Word of caution though…it’s at least a 15 minute walk to the beach on the downhill and 25 on the return uphill!!

The best and only thing that is really nice about this property is the view. Property has limited service, no help with luggage. Breakfast is mediocre at best and served in a no view location. So instead of enjoying the amazing view you sit in a windowless space. Pool is old and my kids left after 5min saying there was so much chlorine in the water that they could not handle it. Friendly and very helpful staff. We had a problem with our rental car, that had nothing to do with the hotel and the staff and transport driver were extremely helpful and very accommodating, going far beyond their jobs, in helping us navigate our rental car problem. We highly recommended this hotel & spa for its great customer service!! Dinner at the property, while the sun was setting was excellent. Their wait staff was very attentive. Brunch in the morning was delicious! We will be back!

Our stay at Miramar was okay. If you are looking to book this property look at the price, not the star rating. While it's a 4-star hotel, there were corners cut (and in some odd places too), but knowing the low price we paid it is understandable. The restaurant looked fancy, staff was well-dressed, but the food was just mediocre. The bathroom had a high-pressure shower, but a tiny shower curtain so water got everywhere. While these small details aren't deal breakers, if you're expecting a high-end hotel experience you may be left feeling jilted.

No parking! Had to scramble on tight streets for a spot! I stayed in apartment. I have a bad hip! No help with luggage! I had to struggle with suitcases over cobblestone streets to get to apartment I rented! Then had to lug my suitcases up a long flight of steps on my own!!!!!! These issues aside… the room was WONDERFUL, second only to the SPECTACULAR million dollar view. I could stayed there for ever!!!!!!!! I loved, loved, loved the room!

The view of the lighthouse was great! The restaurant inside is the only restaurant in several blocks and had great food. The parking lot is a block away (private hotel lot) and hope you have a small car cause most streets are one way and very narrow. The neighborhood is very quiet and staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and good quality furniture and beds. The pool pic is from the spa and only 7.50 euros to use and recommended. Hope this helps!

The hotel overall is great and our room had an amazing view. I did not like the shower at all, and there were no hooks to hang anything which was mildly annoying. The door’s deadbolt was low so my toddler could get out unless we blocked the door with an armchair. But they did have an awesome breakfast buffet with coffee and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We’d love to come back one day!

Hotel lobby, pool, bar, restaurants are all nice and the views are great. Everything except my room was nice. The room had musty old carpeting that was worn out and seemed a little dirty, as well as the furniture which was beat up and had stains. The rest of the hotel was in good condition so it was a bit surprising how neglected the room seemed. It's definitely not a 4-Star hotel, but could come close if the rooms were updated / renovated. I did not use the Spa but saw a big yoga class out on the lawn during an amazing sunset with tiki torches list, it put me in a zen mood just watching it.

Hotel is not what it looks like online...our room was not attached to the main entrance but in a completely separate building down the road. Almost like a small, dated, worn cottage...squeaky floors and a very loud noise at night that was not coming from our room. Indoor pool was at a separate location completely.

No more than a 3 star hotel at best
It was a very strange setup with the hotel, pool/restaurant and spa all seperated. The swimming pool was really dirty and nobody seemed to care even when we mentioned it. Nobody stayed by the pool so i think others felt the same. All the windows were dirty and the Hotel staff seemed preoccupied and the restuarant although it looked like silver service the food was actually cold when we recieved it...beautiful view really sad about the quality!

First, the hotel itself and the staff we interacted with at check in and breakfast were lovely. But the restaurant on site was without a doubt the worst dining experience we have ever had. Waited 10 minutes to be acknowledged after walking in, another 15-20 waiting for a table in a nearly empty restaurant. The person working as waiter/host repeatedly forgot we were waiting there. After finally getting a table, which was still dirty from prior customers, we waited 45 minutes for water. We had to remind the waiters at least 3 times that we were waiting for water. When we finally got our order over an hour into this experience, our steak was literally raw in the middle and we got a salad very different from what we ordered. There were many points at which we would have left this restaurant but after we spent so long waiting to be seated, giving the place the benefit of the doubt, all the other local restaurants had closed for the night.

From the moment we arrived ,until the minute we left we felt valued, everyone was so very friendly & helpful . The room was lovely & clean & even colour co-ordinated with my nail varnish ! The young lady at the front desk was charming -- welcoming, helpful, and a credit to the hotel. Likewise, the staff in the restaurant was friendly and accommodating. However, the room was very dirty -- the carpet was badly stained and should be replaced. The glass table tops were smudged and sticky. A previous guest must have been smoking -- a hole had been burned into the curtain. All of the chrome fixtures in the bathroom were smudged and dusty. The location is spectacular, the staff is great, but the cleanliness and condition of the room brings this 4-star property down a peg or two.

Not what it is advertised to be
Nothing to complain about the staff, they were all very friendly and helpful. It was disappointing to find out that we had to pay for the indoor pool as this was not made clear to us before arriving. The “gym” consists of 4 achient machines and a roll mat, not what we were expecting. The parking was not what we thought it would be either. It is a free for all around the village and when arriving late at night to the hotel it is diffifult to find anywhere to park that is safe and secure. This cannot be helped as the hotel doesn’t have space for a car park however I feel it should be advertised as road parking so you know what you are paying for. It is a pleasent enough hotel, however it is slightly let down by the facilities.
