Fabulous stay. Beautiful hotel, very well styled and designed. Great rooms, ours were spacious, very clean and nice touches, like organic Corsican products. Stunning pool. Wonderful location in Erbalunga village and easy access to rest of Cap Corse

Spent all of one night but perhaps one of our best sleeps given the comfortable bed. Nothing fancy about this hotel but that’s a strong point. The breakfast and dinner were both very good. The photos on the website don’t do justice; this is quite an attractive property in a cute little town.

A gem of a hotel in Cap Corse
This hotel is lovely and elegant and just perfect. We had dinner in their courtyard with love music playing. They offer access to many activities in the area. There was a small outdoor market in the town that we walked to. The swimming pool is also beautiful.

Castel Brando
Great property with restaurant and spa services. The location is in the small town of Brando, so if looking for a quiet place about 10 minutes north of Bastia this is it. While it has its own restaurant, a few small ones a short walk away are also available. Great breakfast. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Great hotel for exploring the cap corse
Charming welcome and helpful staff. Comfortable and spacious room overlooking the small pool and mountain views. Minutes walk into town of Erbalunga with all its restaurants,bars and the port. Easy to get to from Bastia and the airport.

Gorgeous hotel - the comfiest bed I slept in in Corsica. More than I'd usually pay for a hotel as I'm usually a bit of a budget traveller but it was well worth it.

Dinner not served but there are many restuarants within 100 metres and next to the sea. Beatific terrace where breakfast is seven with a view of the mountains. Overall a relaxing hotel to stay at

A gem of a boutique hotel.
A gem of a boutique hotel. Excellent service from a knowledgeable staff. Ideally located a few steps from the beautiful old port in the village of Erbalunga. The garden terrace provided a relaxing location to have breakfast, lunch or an aperitif. Outstanding, in every respect!!!

Quiet location - cap corse
Pleasant hotel near Cape Corse and Bastia. The US a Genoan tower to see and some good restaurants nearby, even a little Spar, but the hotel restaurant only did breakfast.

Very well kept and serviced hotel. Quiet, relaxed but close enough to Bastia for more energetic pursuits. Local village had plenty of reasonable restaurants but in late September they were clearly operating at a reduced level with unexciting fish and various items not in stock. Boulangerie across the road was excellent with long opening hours.

Rather expensive. Good pool. Close to good restaurants and harbourside bars. 3 nights was enough though. No view from room. Ceiling quite low. I generally don't pay more than 50 pounds pppn. This hasn't convinced me that I was wrong. Rack rate was 205 euros no breakfast for this room. Not good value

Hotel Casto Brando was charming and a wonderful place for our last night on Corsica. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The facilities and decor are definitely a bit dated, but still very clean and well maintained.

Nice hotel at perfect locaton
I stay for two nights and it was wonderfull expirience. Hotel is at superb location, have clean and qute rooms and small enough that you soon get familiar with it. And for a perfect start of the day, a farmers food under the palm trees.

Comfort and elegance
This was a charming and comfortable place to stay - not a modern hotel but very elegant and set in beautiful gardens. the staff are excellent and the breakfast was most enjoyable. There are two pools (one heated and the other not) and spa treatments are available if this is something that you enjoy. No restaurant but several very good ones just across the road in the village piazza.

Elegant luxury
We wished we were staying more than one night! In an absurdly beautiful, tasteful and tranquil setting, we enjoyed one luxurious overnight stay. Brilliant staff, stunning pool and gardens. Expensive but worth it - with its own spa! The village is tiny but unspoilt and charming with a view of the sea - cafe, boulangerie... Hard to say if one could spend a whole holiday there unless you were self-contained in the hotel - which would be lovely anyway. We didn't find the beach, if there is one in Erbalunga. So chic!

This hotel is formed from several linked buildings, set in beatiful courtyard gardens and has two swimming pools and ample loungers and umbrellas. Breakfast was ample - all sorts of teas and coffees to choose from, several delicious cereals and ham and cheese as well as nuts, prunes, bread and pastries. Fresh fruit and orange juice plus local jams and honey. All eaten on the shady terrace or in the glass dining room, with spotless table cloths. A really comfortable bed with linen changed daily, a private balcony and view of the pool - what more could you want? A bar or cafe on-site would have been nice, but there are ample places to eat and drink just across the street around the beautiful small harbour of Erbalunga, and the boulangerie/patisserie/Spar provided everything needed for a budget lunch. Just a bit of noise from the neighbourhood school, some church bells to add atmosphere, and the most amazing birdsong to add a musical background to your day.

Classic French hotel
Although not cheap, but then neither is Corsica as a place to visit, the hotel was a wonderful example of the sort of hotel you should expect in France. Clean, simple and very well run, it is a little haven of excellence on which to base your holiday. We tried the breakfast once and it was reasonable without being something we needed to repeat. Quite expensive for what you got and this made us go out to the boulangerie, just across the road, to get the morning fix of croissants and other delicious pastries, etc. As we did not bother with a car for our week it was good to find that the hotel is on the bus service route to Bastia, a nice town/city and worth a wander around. Would we go back again, probably, but then there are many other places in the world yet to visit!

Set in pretty village, charming hotel with beautiful spacious room, friendly and helpful staff . Only problem was we had just 1 night there before catching the ferry, would have loved to stay longer. Was a lovely end to our Corsican trip.
