The property is in desprate need of an update both structural and aesthetically. The staff were very accommodating and helpful but that could not make up for the scruffiness of the building.

Staff were very accommodating when it came to dietary requirements. Meals were excellent. Was given a free upgrade to a better room when I arrived which was very nice and had everything you might expect including free WiFi. Great Broughton had nothing but another inn and houses but there was a nice walk by the 'big river' (I can only suppose the person who told me about it was being ironic 😆) and a longer public footpath that took you through fields.

Pretty coaching in within walking distance of nearby hiking trails. Clean, quiet rooms with spacious facilities. Good food in the bar

Food, bed/bathroom, cleanliness all excellent. Staff very attentive, pleasant and friendly Fabric of the building could do with a slight refurb. Definitely good value.

Room and Inn are about tired, but it was clean, quiet and the food was good. Service was a bit hit & miss, but nothing to complain about.

Not great for what it cost.
Food lovely, staff very helpful but the hotel, pub and rooms were very dated and looking like they've seen better days. I don't think i'd be rushing back there in a hurry.

Well located for walking in the N York Moors, this pleasant hotel has good, functional en suite bedrooms. The dining menu is extensive and the restaurant is busy. The breakfast was excellent.
