Nice stayPosted 25-Aug-2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel was fine. Shared bathroom didn't have our preference, but they were very good and clean. The location was very nice and the food in the hotel was also good.

What a gem!Posted 5-Aug-2013
Pros: Lovely room, superb surroundings, very comfortable and good value for money
Cons: The wait for breakfast
Location: The best location we've every stayed at in Wales, very romantic and scenic
A fabulous hotel in spectacular surroundings, the only fault we had was that we had to wait 40 minutes for our breakfast, other than that it was excellent and will definitely stay there again.

Saracens head hotelPosted 23-Apr-2011 on Hotels.com
Got a single room, and that's exactly what I got a bed table tv and wardrobe, all of which could be reached from the bed. Staff were very friendly, and couldnt do enough, but the hotel was being renovated and there was a load of work going on. For some reason the builders hung around by the entrance of the hotel when they had finished having a beer, which to be honest was a little intimadating at times and they meant no harm but it gave off a bad image. No ensuite toilet down the hall and breakfast nice but not enough.

Old school...but good!Posted 27-Aug-2010
This place is a touch on the old fashioned side, the rooms have no en-suite shower/toilet, but don't be put off by that. The rooms offer basic but comfortable accomodation, and it's the cheapest in the region. The surroundings are very picturesque, with lots of places to eat nearby. To sum up, I enjoyed my stay there, and found it good value for money.

Hotel in CarnarvonPosted 15-Aug-2010 on Hotels.com
Booked this Caernarvon Hotel to find that it is in Bedgelert - miles away from Carnarvon BUT the hotel is in a really beautifull location and rather than spending our hols in Tourist Caernarvon we enjoyed Bedgelert. Hotel staff great - never seen staff work so hard.
