"Wonderful time"
We recently celebrated our 33rd Anniversary and my husband 58 Birthday. We stayed 2 nights and everyone was very friendly. After coming back from a great dinner out we found a bottle of wine and a cheese platter left for us. We plan to go back there again next year.

"Nice hotel close to everything."
We have stayed in this hotel a couple of times now. It's close to Lions Gate Bridge if one wants to get into Vancouver. And it's right on the main bus routes if one wants to leave their car parked. Room was comfortable. But they should install double-paned windows, because they sweat if you leave the heat on during the night.

"Surprisingly good place to stay in West Vancouver"
Stayed here for 7 days for my son's tennis competition at a near by club. The hotel room price was almost half or 2/3 off of other hotels nearby. The hotel is a bit dated but for the price it is very good and quiet. The room was clean and housekeeping staff was great in getting the room cleaned up every morning. There is no restaurant on site but the hotel offered breakfast which was good for us. Very close to Marine Drive so you can drive to the restaurants in a few minutes. The only thing I disliked was the traffic going south passing the bridge to downtown was always plugged. Other than that, nothing to complain about. Will definitely stay again.

"Clean accommodation, excellent location."
The location of this hotel is the best feature, I think. We like the outskirts of Vancouver the best, which includes Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, Grouse Mountain, Horseshoe Bay and the ferries. It's proximity to the Lion's Gate Bridge makes it very easy to go explore the city of Vancouver, as well. There is no extra charge for parking, which we always appreciate. The owners can be seen on-site, overseeing the maintenance and guest comforts. I like that, too, and I think they are very nice people. We felt welcome and cared-about. It's rates are very affordable, and for that we do not expect goose down comforters and Jacuzzi tubs. We did get a comfortable bed in a clean room, and rested well on the three nights we stayed there. There is no hot breakfast, but next door at the Best Western there is a very good Dutch-style breakfast and lunch restaurant, and you can walk across the street to Denny's and Earl's. The best thing I can say is that it served our needs very well, and we will return to it the next time we visit Vancouver.

    North Vancouver Hotels Guide

North Vancouver is the mountain-backed area directly across the Burrard Inlet from downtown Vancouver. The area is a shipping and tourist center, and offers a wide variety of outdoor activities. It is home to Grouse Mountain, a year-round mountain recreation park. Visitors can access the mountain's 1,110m (3,642-feet) summit via the The SkyRide gondola, or on foot via the “Grouse Grind,” a near-vertical trail.
