Very convenient location just off the highway. Staff member who checked us in was amazing, person working front desk the next morning wasn’t as great but not that bad either. Breakfast was quite decent. Really cannot beat the rates!

Despite a state of emergency in Kirkland Lake, the hotel was not willing to offer a rain cheque on my stay. Arrived home to pick up my clothes and found 8 inches of water in my basement. I have nothing positive to say about this experience.

Dear Robert,I apologize you were unable to stay due to the state of emergency. This was on the weather station that it was expected to flood in the north due to the amount of rain predicted. The reservation you made was non-cancellable. When making this type of reservation you need to agree to these terms. There are options on Expedia make reservations that are cancellable, however you would still need to notify 24 hours in advance. But it is available.Regards,KathyGM

Check in with Ben was amazing He was so pleasant and accommodating Beds were comfortable Rooms are small but for the price it was well worth it. Pool and hot tub were a bonus after a long travel day

We should have read previous reviews. For the price, it was a rip off! We had no heat for starters, needs updating badly. The TV was analog!!! Grainy, surprised I didn't see rabbit ears on top of the small tv. The pool and hot tub were out of the 70s. The hot tub was hot but the jets barely worked? I was told my rate will be reduced $20...we'll see? The breakfast was about the best thing we experienced. The owner needs to look after this place.

TV did not work properly. Two remotes to make it function and blurry. paint chipped. could use an update. pool cool and a little dirty, hot tub not up to par. beds were comfortable, convenient to vehicle. breakfast could have used real eggs or omelets and possibly alternative meat

What a mistake staying here !! First the tv was horrible no channels french and news very old and had to weirdly point the remote to the ceiling the heater was very old no middle had to turn on for heat and once room heated up had to turn it off all manually all day the atm machine was broken the whirlpool was broken the wifi was not good couldnt get a tablet online the patio door froze and we had trouble opening it and we needed it for the dogs to go out the blanket was 1/4 of an inch thick with a sheet on either side not even a duvet cover the toilet paper is so cheap that we bought our own and the worst thing waS the pool guy we watched him clean the pool floor with a mop then use the same mop after aand cleaned the tables by the pool HOW DISGUSTING IS THAT ! WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE OR STAY HERE AGAIN oh and dogs are allowed which was the reason we tried this dump but as soon as they barked once we got a phone call .Very disappointing . the pool

Had to wait when I arrived for almost 20 minutes to check in. And the noise at 7am was crazy could not sleep. Not a great experience unfortunately. Will never stay again .

It was mediocre at best. Very outdated, no heat in in the room when arriving and it was -20 outside! Only 2 outlet's to recharge devices in the room. Snow removal was terrible for the bottom floor to access your vehicle. Cheap for a reason. Pay for what you get I guess.
