“perfect location just outside of town”

Loved the place. Comfortable and lots of pillows. Very clean. Easy to get to town.

“Very clean, would stay again.”

Hotel was very clean. Nice rooms, we stayed in one of the Executive Suites (King Bed). One thing we didn't like was that the description mentioned a patio/balcony. These only came with the 2 double/queen rooms. We smoke so it was either keep going outside or downgrade our room. Not a big deal though. Pool was heated (felt great as it was a super hot day followed by a cool nighttime breeze, we swam at night so with the breeze it was still enjoyable). Hot tub was okay, too much chemicals though. My eyes were burning after about 15 mins. Overall, the hotel was very nice and I would definitely stay again. Although, it was really on the south end of town. Nothing close to walk to and it took about 10 mins to drive to downtown area. Be prepared to have to drive everywhere if staying at this hotel.

“Will stay again”

The hotel met it's start rating.. the service at the front desk was great. The room was a wonderful size with 2 double beds and a pull out couch. the only thing about the room that needed work was the sink in the bathroom. i would stay again and i would recommend for others to stay there.

“Good hotel for road warriors”

I stay here often due to the proximity to highways. Usual good service was marred by front desk clerk who took down the wrong room # for my room service request. I called an hour later and got my meal, and by way of apology, they reduced the cost of the meal. Food in the restaurant is WONDERFUL.

“I would recommend”

It's not overly posh but very clean, all amenities advertised were up to standard. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. I enjoyed a nice breakfast at a reasonable price. It is only 2 minutes off of the main highway into North Bay and likely the first accomodations when coming from the south. There was a convenience store/gas station a few hundred yards. across the road that I believe was open 24 hours. There was a decnet selection of cable TV and free wireless. It was about 25 minutes to the airport, and I "guess" less than half that to downtown though I never went there.

“The Clarion is okay, however starting to show its age.”

The Clarion requires some tender loving care in regards to maintenance of small patio re screen doors etc.

“luke warm”

Gorgeous fire in the main lobby. clean hotel. nice staff, but the facility is old and outdated.

“OK, but not great”

While there is nothing particularly bad about this hotel, there is nothing particularly good about it either. It generally gives the impression of being old and rundown but renovated. Three things going against it are that although I reserved a room with two Queen beds, I got one Queen bed and one (admittedly Queen size) sofa bed. Not what I expected! The TV remote barely worked and they have the harshest towels of any place that I have ever been. I do not expect to be going back here and actually wouldn't have stayed this time had I been able to get a room elsewhere.
