“Turtle Cay is Great”
The photo did not do justice to the resort. It was much better on the scene. The ambiance, service, helpfullness of staff, cleanliness was better than what I have experienced at higher rated hotels. At the time of our stay, there was some repairs going on but nothing we couldn't live with. The only drawback was door noise and roller racks on the walkways. Doors slammed harder because of wind vacuum and the exterior walkways of the halls were not carpeted so noise echoed. I would still go back in a heartbeat and it's right across the street from the beach.
“best at the beach”
very clean and friendly great location would stay there again
“The Best So Far”
I loved the room, the fireplace was a big deal for me. The hotel staff was very courteous and answered all of my questions. They told me about local places to eat and things that were going on. The room was very clean and the bed was VERY comfortable. I hated to leave and look forward to my next trip to Va.
“Wonderful hotel & location”
Exceptionally clean with high-end amenities. Yes, there are cheaper places...but do you really want a "bad" vacation experience?
“excellent stay.”
The room was very nice. I got to use the parking garage also which made it very convienent. I didn't have to worry about parking meters while we visited. The front desk people were very helpful, as was maintenance. the maintenance man helped me find my way. One night, as it was late, security walked my daughter-in-law and granddaughter to the room. Thank you for that.
“Great! The only complain would be...”
Everything was fine with exception of some areas in the outside of rooms and pool side that had mold an it was not nice to see it, out of that is great specially that you have your kitchen to cook and w/d on hand to wash and dry your wet clothes.
“We'll Be Back!”
What a lovely hotel! The two pools (and spas) were a huge hit with our seven-year-old granddaughter. We spent the mornings at the beach (one block away) and came back to the hotel for lunch by the pool. The rest of the afternoons were spent swimming and reading poolside. Our room was very comfortable, although it would've been nice to have a larger table or the addition of a desk. Very handy to have a microwave, refrigerator, toaster, etc. to prepare small meals. Large bathroom also a plus, although I have to say the bath towels left a lot to be desired! Thin and small (remember those towels you used to get in P.E.?!). We wound up using the towels provided for the pool. Next time we'll request a room with a view of the pool (and a balcony).
“All around great experience!”
Owned a timeshare here..but moved over to the Boardwalk. Wish we hadn't made the change. Turtle Cay is wonderful. Comfortable atmosphere, spacious rooms, friendly service, convenient to beach, nicely landscaped, relaxing pool area w/hot tub. The beds were comfortable w/lots of pillows..perfect! We had a room w/a fireplace..perfect! Covered, protected parking area...perfect! Loved everything about it..except no free wi-fi ..only drawback.
“Looking forward to returning!”
We absolutely loved staying at the Turtle Cay Resort and wished we could have stayed longer. The hotel staff was very attentive and ensured we enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was equipped beyond our expectations and it was very roomy for a couple cooks to be in . Our kitchen had the basics plus microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker and washer/dryer. (Which really helped when we returned from the beach.) The sleeping arrangements were equally as comfy. The king sized bed in the master bedroom was not too firm or too soft - it was just right. The master bedroom was also equipped with a dvd ,vcr player and a safe in the closet. All very nice touches for a seemless stress free stay. The teens loved their seperate TV and balcony too. (At night they enjoyed staying up later talking on the balcony.) The pool and hot tub was kept very clean and towels were consistantly provided. We stayed at Turtle Cay 6 days and 5 nights and enjoyed every minute there.
“Can't wait to go back”
This hotel is outstanding. The room was gorgeous. The staff were wonderful also.
