“Great Getaway”
Loved the fact that therewas no smoking and nopets allowed at thehotel.

Awesome location. Loved being able to walk straight out to the beach. I was looking for a clean hotel right on the beach and found it here. If you are looking for a spacious room, this isn't it. But I didn't go to the beach to get a huge room with lots of space. The room was perfectly clean with no odors. We were only there for three days so we hung out the do not disturb sign. As we were leaving to go out the second morning the housekeepers were in the hall and asked if we needed anything and then promptly brought us some clean towels. After we checked out we were allowed to leave our car in the garage while we spent the day at the beach. Loved watching the dolphins off the beach in the early morning. There was approximately 5 miles of beach to walk according to my father-in-law. He spent the time we were there walking up and down the beach. There is also a pier nearby that you could pay to go out on to fish.
“Great view of the ocean”
My husband and I love to go to the beach before and after the season, this was the first time we have stayed at Surfside and were very satisfied with the staff and accommodations. The room was clean and comfy and you could hear the ocean while you slept. They even let us keep our car in the garage while we shopped after check out. Will come back.
“great hotel for great price”
had a great stay. Room was very clean. Loved that was right on the beach but just a little away from the very busy section of the beach and the continental breakfast was very nice. Was not disappointed in anything at all. Was a little worried about the cost of the hotel money not being as much as the others but then when i got there i had not worries. It was a great vacation.
“I'm going here when i go to VA beach”
Well were do i begin? The people in the front desk are VERY kind and they respect their cousumers. I'm not into staying in other places other than my own bed and I am very picky but for some reason I really enjoyed my stay in SURFSIDE OCEAN FRONT INN. I had a blast. I guess the only thing that really wasnt so great is turning in the room at 11AM and receiving it at 3PM but other than that it was WONDERFUL i really can't wait to make another trip there. And this is going to be the hotel i stay in when i go to Virginia Beach. It has a perfect location. Right where i go sit on the beach and it's just perfect. Including the breakfast and the 24 hour beverage station!! i loved it!! :D
“Great July 4th in VA Beach”
This was the first time we stayed at this hotel. We usually frequent chains, but their prices were crazy. So we took a chance, and it really paid off. The location is great: we watched the fireworks from our hotel balcony! We will definitely return to this hotel.
“Best little secret in VA BEACH”
This hotel is in need of some renovations: new ceiling tiles in bathrooms,new carpet in halls, some paint, etc. But you just cannot beat it for the price we received through Expedia! The rooms are clean and the furniture is nice & EVERY room has a oceanfront balcony. I thought the lobby was nice and the pool well heated and clean. But my favorite part of our stay was the EXCELLENT customer service we received from all staff - from supervisors, front desk clerks, and facilities and housekeeping staff. I have stayed many a time at very pricey, fancy hotels & have have never received such friendly and personalized customer service. The staff here went above & beyond. My family and I will stay at this hotel each summer when we go to VA Beach! If you don't have to have granite countertops & top of the line "cosmetic" appearance this is THE place to stay!
“Best Kept Secret”
We went to this hotel during the 4th of July Holiday. The beds were queen sized and very comfortable. We were near the pier so we were able to watch the fireworks from our balcony. It was great. We would definitely stay here again.
“great view!”
The hotel staff were very friendly. This hotel was in a great location and had a private balcony. We asked about staying a few extra hours in the parking garage after check out and the staff was very accomodating. The price was very good considering the other beach front hotels were at least $100 more per night. I'd stay again. Room and bathroom area looked recently renovated.

We stayed at the hotel and it the staff was very friendly and heipful and the room was beautiful and very clean.Breakfast was good.
