“Great location !!!”
Nice place in front of the beach. Decided to stay here because of the location and the price. My little travelers enjoyed so much the swimming pool and the hot tub. I would recommend taking your hair dryer. Highly recommend as a budget hotel.
“cant wait to go back next year”
we were very pleased with everything was a nice hotel would recommend it to people.the employees were nice and the rooms were kept clean every day nice balcony and right across from the beach well worth the money we really enjoyed our vacation cant wait till next year to go back.
“A little outdated, but clean and quiet”
The Sea Gull Inn is one of the older hotels in Virginia Beach with its tiny elevator and old school keys. However, it was very quiet (even with kids in neighboring rooms) and the location was great! It was near shops and restaurants, but the music in the streets and bars were farther down, yet within walking distance :) Although it was a little outdated, it was both clean and quiet. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Great room for the amount of money .Just wish the hotel had longer hours on the weekend.The view was great.
“King Bed Suite is fantastic!”
The suite was absolutely adorable! The view of the ocean was beautiful! The bed could have been more comfortable, but the room was VERY cozy. My boyfriend and I loved it!! And the hotel location is perfect! We had a fantastic time.
“Pleaant and enjoyable, friendly staff”
All we had to do was to pick up the keys...fortunately, there was one space in the close parking and were able to use it. The other lot is an easy 2 block walk. Staff were all very friendly, everything was clean. This is very convenient for both the ocean (and a view). The walkway from room to room is also available to sit and watch the ocean. The rooftop deck is great for watching the sunrise or dolphins. We didn't see any this time. The elevator is small but we were on the 3rd floor and even though I'm a senior citizen, taking the stairs was easy.
“Would definitely stay here again”
The hotel was clean, comfortable, & convenient. The parking lot is very small. However, there is an annex lot a block & a half away. My only disapointment was the lack of a balcony. I booked what I thought was a normal room through expedia, but at check in I managed to be placed in a private suite (yay!). The private suites are facing oceanfront (unlike the other rooms), but there are no balconies & the windows don't open. All in all I had a great experience!
“Had a great weekend !”
The hotel was great for what we paid for . We had a good view facing the strip and the beach. The room itself was clean. It had a refrigerator and coffee pot and iron. Kind of disappointed there was no microwave. The shower faucets need some repair . All in all the room was nice. The associates and maids we came in contact with were very nice and very helpful. We had a very wonderful time . I do not think I would stay there during peak times as the parking is awful . Very small parking area . We lucked out and got a space and left our car there the entire time. Everything was so close to us we walked everywhere.

Definitely a pleasurable and enjoyable stay. Nice room and reasonable rates. Smack dab in the "middle" of the boardwalk and right on the beach. Nice restaurant on the premises. An angular view of the ocean (not facing) 3 rooms only face ocean, but I didn't visit VA beach to view the ocean from my room. 30 second walk and your feet is in the sand. Parking is limited and first come first serve, but an overflow lot is literally just a minute away. Parking is an issue for most all hotels on the beach. Personnel was courteous and professional. I will book here again!
“Great Location”
The Sea Gull Inn is located right on the VA Beach Boardwalk in the middle of where all the action happens. We were steps from the beach, 4 blocks from the statue of Neptune (in the heart of VA B). The white sandy beach was terrific and the wide boardwalk was an interesting place to people watch or take a stroll or brisk walk. The Sea Gull did have limited parking, but a reserve lot was only a couple block walk (and who needs to go anywhere but the beach when the weather is great?) Although older and not as extravagant as the local high rises, the Sea Gull was very clean -- linens and towels changed daily as well as a thorough cleaning. We were very pleased, and felt it was a great value considering the location and last minute reservations. We would definitely recommend the Sea Gull Inn to others, and already have!
