Front Desk Greeter does an amazing job at the check in and check out. But, the room is filthy in the corners of the room, and back of the bed. The bathroom is clean, but there is a crack on the shower wall, but the shower itself is functional with decent hot water. The environment is ok, not alot of trouble around the hotel. Overall, an ok room if you're trying to find a place to stay under the budget. I hope these rooms will be renovated ASAP.

The value for what i paid is appropriate. Usually I dont mind the basics but this place was a little sketch. The room was rated nonsmoking but if that is so, the nonsmoking went into effect maybe 3 months ago because it smelled like cigarette smoke. It was clean just stinky. We had a room closer to the front and could hear ALL the traffic ALL night long.

When we checked in, there was hair on the shower wall, the floors had hair piles on them, the sheets on one of the beds were dirty, and the soap at the sink had not been replaced. The used soap from the people before us, was placed back in the wrapper and left there for us to use!! I was so disgusted, we got a refund for the room and checked into another hotel down the street.

Room needed a deep clean. Floors were absolutely filthy. From the reviews I’ve read, the excuse will be that they are in the middle of a renovation. That is no excuse for the rooms to not be clean. Planned on staying 2 nights, but only stayed one due to the condition of the lack of cleanliness. Hotel clerk didn’t even bother to ask the reason we were checking out early. The attached pictures don’t do justice to the filth of the room.

The reception was pleasent, however the property is extremely dirty. The bedsheets and furniture was stained. I asked for the linens to be changed and was informed that there was no housekeeping on staff after 12pm.

So filthy we slept fully clothed on towels we spread on the bed, toilet seat was connected to the toilet, all floors were sticky and gross, lampshades stained, tub dirty, chain lock on the door was barely connected to the wall. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Cleaning is an essential part for a hotel to be at the top. They had well stained towels, dirty floor, stained toilet paper, flies inside the room. This hotel needs remodeling because despite it has a good location.

Well-you get what you pay for. The motel was super convenient for what we needed to do in Norfolk for one day. And, since it was a weekend, rates were ridiculous at other places. The lodge was about $130.00 less than other hotels in this area. Since we only needed a sleep break, we thought it would be fine. The place was old (we knew that) but it was clean. No complaints there. However, all evening and night the conversations and smokers and visitors in the parking lot kept us up. The walls are evidently paper thin. At 3:00 a.m. we gave up, packed up and left since sleep was impossible due to the never ending conversations and smokers hanging in the parking lot visiting with each other. No one was rowdy, but the outdoor get together never ended.

The only things I liked about this place was the location and the staff. It was convenient to our purpose for visiting the area. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. However, it needs some major updates, and better cleaning practices. There was sand in our tub which tells me it wasn't cleaned before our arrival. The toilet barely worked. The hot water in the sink barely existed...the list goes on

The property was conveniently located near Naval Statiok Norfolk where we were visiting. But the hotel was so disgusting and dirty that we left immediately after we checked out. My kids took two steps into our room and their feet were filthy. You could see the dirt all over the floor. The tub in the bathroom was black. Very disappointed and wasn’t offered a refund.
