There was a small mixup with the room when I arrived but the front desk cleared it up promptly. Expedia lists these rooms as being soundproof but that wasn’t the case. I could hear everything, including arguments, coming from the surrounding rooms and just outside the door, in the hallway. Also I woke up and there was a bug that looked a lot like a bed bug on the carpet just at the foot of the bed. I took pictures and showed the front staff. They said they would have pest control come out the next day and someone would call me. I have not received a call as of yet, and this was two days ago.

The breakfast buffet was more then disappointing. It is a breakfast that other hotels include with your stay. Powdered eggs, frozen pancakes, bacon, and etc. The other hotels include waffles, yogurt, bananas, and a few other breakfast items along with the other items listed above for NO additional charge. I was SHOCKED! There's no microwave in the rooms. However, the customer service, rooms, cleanliness, and area was very very nice.

Fine, not great!
My stay here was fine not great. I did have a few issues with my first room. My toilet stopped working in the middle of the night. After trying to call the front desk in the morning, the “at your service” button told me the # was not a working #! I tried dialing zero, I ended up in someone’s voicemail! No live person to communicate with! I was left with the only option to go down to the front desk, after I used the RR’s on the 1st floor, I then spoke with the front desk. I explained the above issues. I told the front desk I was getting ready to attend my niece’s funeral and would stop by the front desk on my way out. A little after 9:00 am, I let the same person know I was leaving and would be gone all day. 12 hours later, I came back to my room with the toilet still not working. Your front desk FAILED to let anyone know about the above issues! The front office manager, Cora was the unfortunate one to deal with me and my demand for a new room. She did get me a new room and was sweet enough to help me pack my things and move me to the new room. The cleanliness of the bathroom in the 2nd room was not at all acceptable. There was hair, not mine on the shower walls and if that wasn’t bad enough, there was hair on the ceiling near the bathroom door! I thought about taking a picture, but I didn’t. The pillows were awful and bed was okay, not great! I don’t know if I would stay here again.

The front staff was friendly. The cleanliness of the room was disappointing. The blanket had what appeared to be mildew stains and the door and bathroom wall were dirty. My room was by the electrical room and the ice machine so I heard all the traffic from other occupants. I stayed here years ago and my stay then was excellent. I’m not sure what happened over the years.

The hotel was clean, very friendly staff and convenient location. Only thing I did not like was that my room had a gapping at the bottom of the door. Noticed it when my wife pointed it out. I did a walkdown of my hall and noticed certain rooms had the issue, and some doors were completely sealed. No clue why that is, which is why I gave that aspect 4 stars flr the facility. Overall, great bar and restuarant, and gym and pool were decent.

Very Disappointed
Usually I don’t comment or leave reviews but in this case I feel that I must. Let’s start off with how there were kids everywhere in the lobby area. Don’t get me wrong I have nothing against children but when they are disrespectful of people space and the parents are not tending to them there is an issue. One child knocked my coffee out of my hands when entering the elevator due to playing hide and go seek. No parent in sight. Then let’s talk about the room. There were not enough towels, the tub backed up with water when showering. Plus the sink leaked. It was overall a frustrating stay for me and usually inever complain. It’s unfortunate that my experience was not as good as it could’ve been.

Nice but questionably accessible
The location is good and the hotel itself is very nice. Their wheelchair and low mobility access is a 7/10. Not bad but definitely could be better. The handicapped rooms are far from entries making it necessary to go a long way to get to the room. The toilet is very close to one wall making transfer a challenge. The bed is very tall making independent transfer challenging as well. In addition the thermostat for the room is high and above other objects making it difficult/impossible to reach independently. Finally, the space around the furniture was exceedingly tight and the rods for closing the drapes were high. The shower was great. Overall not bad but needed some more thought put into being truly accessible.

I did not like the check in portion. It would not except my credit card that i used to reserve my room. I was forced to use my debit card that i normally do not use for this purpose. The room did not have a microwave or frig. I found out that some of my friends had one of each in their room. I was put by the elevator where i could hear people talking while i was in bed. I was not impressed with this hotel.
