“Selct: A total Surprise!”
Very impressive building. Checkin was a touch slow. Other than that, awesome.

Only five minute (or less) drive from the airport. Found out that the hotel shuttle would drive you anywhere you wanted to go within a five mile radius; including shopping. restaurants..etc. The hotel was very clean. Not in their description is laundry area. The indoor pool was comfortable, although a little small and there is also a hot-tub. Pillowtop mattresses were EXTREMELY comfortable.Rooms were large and decorated nicely. They offered a "pillow menu" which was unexpected! Staff was polite and professional.I would use this hotel again if my main purpose of the trip was not to be on the ocean!

“Great hotel for cheap!”
The location is great. It is really close to the Norfolk Botanical Gardens, the mall, and tons of eateries. The lobby of the hotel is beautiful! The first clerk could not find my reservation, but a second clerk did. Our room was on the 4th floor. The halls are nice and temperate. The room was nicer than I thought it would be. We even had a small balcony! The chair and couch were not the most comfortable pieces of furniture, but they served their purpose. The bed was comfortable. We ran out of shampoo and the clerk gave us more including different kinds from their mini-store. The ice machine on our floor was broken for the whole weekend. Luckily there was an elevator near our room so it wasn't a big problem. The televisions were dated and kind of small, but were adequate. Overall, the hotel was a nice place to stay. It looked, felt, and smelled clean. I would definitely recommend it.
“Would stay here again”
I stayed at this hotel primarily because it was close to the Norfolk airport and I had an early flight out. The courtesy shuttle to the airport runs 24 hours which was handy when I had to leave at 4am. Hotel was clean, and rooms were a nice size.

Lobby was very clean and comfortable. Restaurant was clean and food was good. Room very clean and fresh, however, it was a little small, but not uncomfortable. Would recommend it highly! Personnel great!
“A High Quality Hotel for a Steal!”
This hotel was beautiful. The decor and ambiance was really nice and luxurious. The front desk clerk was helpful, the check in was fast and everyone was really nice. The hours at the bar, pool and fitness area are long enough to enjoy it. The temperature was a little hard to regulate and that is the only down side and it wasn't even a big deal.
“Want to go back soon”
Personnel at motel are very professional and courteous. We had a slight problem with the first room that we were given, but were promptly moved to another room. Everything else was wonderful and enjoyable. Nice clean rooms. Buffet breakfast was really good. Good variety of food. Young man working the breakfast bar was very attentive to the customers needs. Excellent!!!
“Holiday Inn Norfolk”
I was very impressed with my stay at the Holiday Inn Norfolk. The staff was very polite, and were always happy to help. The area was nice, Virginia beach is only about a 20 min drive away. There also is a nearby shopping mall which is quite convenient. I highly recommend ocean breeze water park which is located 5 minutes from the beach, is relativity cheap( roughly $25/person) , and very fun( lots and lots of water slides). My stay was great, and I plan to book again in the near future.
