“great location”
The hotel is in a great location for travellers using the eurostar, so there is no need for extra cost of taxis etc, The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable for a short stay, there are plenty of bars/restaurants with in easy walking distance. The city has a lot to offer for a short/weekend break
“Excellent Basic Budget Hotel- perfect for Eurostar weekend breaks”
Hotel room is very basic, but functional- Bed, TV (no english channels), desk, hairdryer, shower and bath. The bed was a basic mattress, quite firm but perfectly comfortable. However, for the price bracket this is as good or better thatn one would expect. Staff were helpful and spoke English. One word of warning is that the luggage room is quite small and can get very packed, so if arriving early or leaving late, consider only taking a small bag you can carry with you or one that you don't mind other bags being stacked on. We had a party of 6 adults and all were very happy with the hotel, especially for the price. The hotel is perfect for people who want to go out and enjoy the town rather than sitting watching TV. There is a night bell for night owls.
“Bon hotel **”
Pour la braderie, réserver longtemps à l'avance !
“hotel et service de qualité”
Très bien situé, calme et confortable. Accueil et petit déjeuner très agréables. Un petit inconvénient : absence de volets compensée par des rideaux peu efficaces.
“lille braderie”
went for the braderie[flea market, largest in europe, whole town centre involved]which is always 1st w/end in sept.hotel could not be better placed 300m from train,300m to braderie, good hotel overall, would recomend but book early
“Lille convenience”
Extremely close to Lille Eurostar...only 1 1/4 hours from London. Steps from the indoor mall and a short walk to the cafes and pedestrian areas of Lille. I couldn't believe how convenient and reasonably priced it was. English speaking desk staff made staying here a breeze.
“Impressed”
A great hotel with excellent location!
“Fantastic location”
The hotel was only a 2 minute walk from Eurostar and another 2 minute walk to the main shopping centre. Hotel staff extremely helpful and polite. Room and bathroom very spacious and spotlessly clean. Excellent value for money. Although the hotel is a 2 star rating I feel the standard offered at Lille Europe is equivalent to some 4 star hotels that I have stayed in. Would definitely stay there again.
“excellent location”
The hotel was close to the eurostar station and next to the euro lille shopping centre it was an ideal location to explore lille. The room was really comfortable and clean we were on the seventh floor it was very quiet
