“Bon choix”

Très bien pour un deux étoiles. Situé juste en face de la gare de Lille Flandres donc facile d'accès.

“We were pleased to stay here”

We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights in September 2011. We had a room several floors up over looking the square in front of the Gare Lille Flandres, and enjoyed our stay and the view. The location is central and convenient to everything you would want to see in Lille, as well as for day trips by train. Ordinarily we don't book this close to a train station but this was a cut above the areas around many train stations. It is a square with many outdoor restaurants, and near to the big downtown shopping center.The room was clean, well maintained but a little noisy until late at night due to traffic noise. I could see this being an issue if you had to keep the windows open since there is no air conditioning. Hotel staff were polite, helpful and spoke some English. We didn't have the breakfast so I can't speak to this. There is an elevator. There is lots to see in Lille plus it is a base for tours of WW1 battlefield sites and memorials in Flanders.

“Good place for good price.”

Nice, clean, affordable place in great location near train and city center. Staff unbelievably nice, especially the weekend overnight guy. Only negative is there wasn't a bed big enough for two. We had 3 double beds in the room. And there was no stand up shower, just a tub with a handheld shower and no curtain. Minor issues for us, but worth knowing about ahead of time nonetheless. Still would recommend the place to anyone who is fine with these small tradeoffs.
