"Centrally located and full of character"
After 5 weeks touring in Europe it was wonderful to have a 'proper' room and all 'mod cons'.

"Great place for long week end break"
We found the hotel very well appointed, all public rooms well kept and well staffed. Reception, dinining, bar and room staff all very helpful and all offered a very high level of customer service. Buffett breakfast - enough to keep you going until supper time. Parking arrangements excellent, multi storie car park directly adjacent to hotel and a set parking fee for however long you stayed in the car park - in Bath this is pure gold ! Very good reception service - bags from car and taken up to room. Check out time mid-day very civilised.

"Brilliant"
Was there for 4 days and it was brilliant. I'd read the reviews before I went and consider them to be harsh. It had all you could need and I will definitely be going back!

"Lovely hotel for a weekend away."
We stayed here on a Sunday night so the price was a bit cheaper, we may not have stayed here on a Friday/Saturday. We were greeted by a friendly member of staff who gave us a free room upgrade and gave us some great tips for places to see in the city. The room was very comfortable and although on the ground floor, next to the front door, we weren't disturbed by noise at all. The circo bar was very atmospheric and the cocktails were lovely! Overall we had an excellent time in Bath which was topped off by our stay in The Halcyon.

"Absolutely wonderful"
We came here for a short break, and we wanted something that was comfortable and close to the city centre. This hotel was ideal! The location is very good, being just slightly north of the main shopping street and close to the Circus and Royal Crescent. All the major sites in Bath are within walking distance. The staff were incredibly polite, friendly and helpful. The rooms have quite a homely feel to them, complete with a sofa to sit on. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable and warm, and the bathroom had a nice style to it. The one complaint I have is that there is no internet connection in the rooms, although I was just about able to connect to the lounge's wifi from our second-floor room. I don't normally go for breakfast in hotels, as it is always expensive, but the cooked breakfast we had here was certainly worth it: the French toast with bacon was wonderful, as was the coffee. The Continental breakfast is good, too, although I would recommend opting for a cooked one.
