Comfortable room, free parking, swimming pool
The hotel is a short walk from Vence centre, it offers free on-site parking. Nothing fancy about the room but it was a comfortable stay for us. The swimming pool is quite nice, as well as garden area where you can sit and relax. Room comes with a balcony with table and chairs which is a great feature.

Great hotel in Vence, France (15 km north of Nice)
My wife and I have visited Vence (near Nice) many times over the past years. We have tried ALL the hotels there! By far Le Floréal is the nicest place to stay! And, one of the most reasonably priced as well. Parking is easy, safe and free for guests. The hotel is "dog friendly." We have stayed at this hotel 8 times in the last 7 years! We recommend highly! Great couple managing the hotel: they are friendly and always ready to help with information about anything that's going on in Vence and the surrounding area. Rooms are clean and spacious. WiFi is fine and, the hotel is just a 1 minute drive from Vence center and more importantly: only a 5 minute WALK to the nearest shops and cafés and restaurants in the village of Vence. Don't miss this hotel!

Lovely hotel in Vence, France
Easy walking into town and the old town. The staff were always helpful when asked and polite and friendly. Excellent location for day trips to Nice, Antibes or Monaco. Would highly recommend thus hotel.

Not fancy - small rooms - decent bathroom- good shower - comfy bed - friendly and helpful reception - easy walk to old city - common areas and rooms could use new carpet - would recommend for the price

The hotel is nothing special although more expensive than the hotels nearby. Breakfast is not included and costs 12 euro. The receptionist charged my card although I made it clear, several times and also showing the emails, that everything was paid through hotels.com. They charged it anyway. Hotels.com tried to clarify the issue by phone but they claimed not to have charged it. Only when I made it clear I was going to report everything to the police, they finally confirmed to hotels.com they were going to reimburse everything. Very unpleasant experience mixed with seemingly racist behavior. Hotels.com was very professional and supportive, thanks

Dear Guest, First of all, we are sorry if there were a misunderstanding on payments but you have to know that everything ends up clarifying between hotel.com and us. It's not your police threats that made the situtation change. Have you spent several days in Vence and experienced all the hotels nearby to judge that our is not better but more expensive? Certainely not ! We are recognized for being one of the best 3 stars hotels in Vence and surroundings. We have a quiet and pleasant garden, a large swimming pool, free parking, renovated rooms with new bathrooms. When you make your reservation, you have the choice to select the rate with or without breakfast, it is a general rule for all hotels. Breakfast costs 12 euros but it is a huge buffet and consists of : Cereals, a variety of yogurt, fresh fruits, hot drinks, fruit salad, jam, a choice of bread, croissants and pastries, fruit juices, cold meat, a variety of cheese etc… We have been receiving people from all over the world for years and no one has ever talked about racism except you! We wish you a pleasant day and a good return home.

Great Value in Vence
The couple who run this hotel are such warm welcoming people. The rooms are pretty basic but with a little balcony, very comfortable beds and good showers. We had dinner one night in the hotel and were really surprised at the quality of the food. There is a choice of about 5 main dishes as well as pizzas and the generous portions were beautifully presented and tasted delicious. There was a choice of a fixed price for 2 or 3 courses at a very reasonable cost and I would certainly recommend eating in at the end of a tiring day sightseeing. This hotel is good value and only 10 minutes walk from the lovely square in Vence and 10 minutes in the car to St Paul de Vence which is an absolute must to visit in the area.

Inter-Hôtel le Floréal
Stopped at Inter-Hôtel le Floréal the night before flying home from Nice. Hotel clean and comfortable and reasonably priced for an overnight stay. About a 10 minute walk into the historic centre of Vence which was pleasant to stroll around with some nice bars and restaurants.

Very quiet hotel
Such a good spot to unwind after a long trip from west coast North America. So quiet at night and very comfortable bed and room. A very short walk to great restaurants and shopping. Free safe parking! And a pool if it was summer. We had a huge thunder storm and it poured with rain, but we were cozy and warm.

You don’t have to deal with the city center traffic, as the hotel is just outside. Clean room and great bathroom.

Comfortable but unfriendly.
While the location was fine I did have a couple of negative experiences. First, they entered my room when I had the do no disturb sign out. When I complained about it they just said "oh well" and that since nothing was broken or stolen that it was no big deal. It was to me....the paying customer! When I suggested they comp my breakfast to compensate for their error they actually laughed right in my face. Again, me, the paying customer. Second, upon check out they put all the charges for my traveling companion on my bill but then had her pay everything. They said my card was declined but my card was in excellent condition with plenty of limit available. They refused to credit and recharge us individually for our separate rooms. We had indicated to that same clerk when we checked in that we would pay separately. We dealt with the same clerk on all occasions and she was very unfriendly. Just by the way this was the 4th time I have stayed at this location....probably won't come back.

In order to correct some information: - you have never stayed in our establishment before - you paid only once and not two. The card given for the guarantee of your room was refused twice, so your friend has settled on her card. - as for you, you asked that I make you an invoice in your name in addition when you had not settled, and we told you that it was not possible. - Then concerning your room, you demanded that we offer you all your breakfasts because according to you, and I say again "according to you" the maid had returned while a sign "do not disturb" was in place. Which never happened. You simply try again to negotiate the price, which was not the first time since your arrival. When even your "traveling companion" tells us to be "ashamed" of your attitude, it might be good to question you. Good road to you.

I can't sing their praises enough. If you want mad excitement, this isn't your kind of place. If you want a very slightly old-fashioned, quiet, calm, comfortable hotel, where the breakfast is fine, where there is an ok dinner if you want one, where the room is cleaned properly every day, where the staff are attentive, charming and generous, where the air con works perfectly, where the pool is swimmable, where if you wanted you could idle a whole summer day away, this is the place for you. The decor is just a little bit old fashioned, but who cares? TV worked, shower was great, air con was great, atmosphere was great, if you are a family or, if like me, you care most about a good night's sleep and staff who care. I LOVED it!! For the money, you can't beat it - My favourite holiday hotel ever!

great hotel for stay in Vence
We really enjoyed our stay..actually we stayed an extra two nights. The room was very comfortable and quiet .We walked to St Paul de Vence and we were within easy driving distance of the beach at Cagnes sur Mer and Tourettes.. Eddy was very helpful and friendly as was the owner and his wife.

I stayed with some friends and we had a wonderful stay. Vence has a nice old town within walking distance with good restaurants and is well located for trips into Nice, Monte Carlo or Cannes. The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. It was excellent value and the standard of the room and bathroom was better than I expected.

Nice and cosy hotel
We booked this hotel because we cannot find anything in Nice. It turned out to be a very pleasant and cosy hotel. The staff are great and very helpful, giving us great recommendation of places to visit, help us with information on the internet and in general, very friendly and kind. The rooms are nice and clean. There is a small pool and a nice outdoor area for dining and breakfast. Unfortunately, during our stay there, the internet did not work very well and had to go back to the lobby to use the internet. Otherwise, this is a great hotel at an affordable price.

A short drive to Nice. Also close to restaurants.
Our experience was great. Started with a very friendly check in. We found our room very nice with a view to the rear courtyard. We had a nice dinner plus the breakfast was excellent. The daughter of the owner was very pleasant and very helpful to give us suggestions on getting to Nice. We would stay there again.

A lovely hotel in a lovely town
This is a lovely hotel, a bit out of the centre so quiet, but it does not take long to walk in. We booked it as a post-airport stop but liked it and Vence so much that we stayed three nights and are going back for the last night before our flight. We had a ground floor room which opened out onto the grass lawn and had two sunloungers as well as a small table and two chairs on the balcony. There was no fridge or kettle, but we bring our own kettle and had a very comfortable do-it-yourself breakfast and though it was in full view of the restaurant (which looks onto the same central lawn, no-one seemed to mind. The hotel restaurant does a reasonably priced set meal and we're going to do that when we next go so cat say now if it is a good meal, though we are expecting it to be. Hotel car park is quite small but there is free public parking over the road a bit nearer Vence which was fine. Don't miss going to St Paul Vence! It is quite amazing. NB that supermarkets close on Sunday afternoons.

The staff was very friendly. The hotel is very quaint. Not cookie cutter. The towns around the hotel are also charming but restaurants seem to be difficult to get to as parking in the towns is a challenge. breakfast at hotel is pricey. and the parking at hotel is also limited. try to get there and park before they open the restaurant for dinner as its the main dinner restaurant for the town it seems. The rooms do need to updated badly. They have 60's type furniture, but it was clean and gave the room a quaint feeling. We had a balcony overlooking the courtyard and it was very pretty.

Quality and value in Vence, France
We stayed in this hotel a few weeks ago toward the end of a month-long trip through France. This is the only hotel review I am writing for that entire trip, because none of the other hotels stood out as much as this one (although, in fairness, we didn't have a "bad" hotel during the entire stay.) The Hotel Floreal combines the best of everything: French charm, high standards and exquisite food. It was immaculately clean (top priority for us) and the staff couldn't have been more helpful at every turn. Example #1: we ask for directions, they show us on the map and then photocopy a copy of the map! Example #2: we needed to print a shipping label for a bike we were shipping back to Geneva and they printed it for us -- no charge. Example #3: We went to the bar to order drinks which we planned to take back to the pool and they asked if that was our plan. We admitted it was, bracing ourselves to be told "no" for some reason -- but, instead, they simply offered to bring them out to us. (Nice bonus: food and beverage is "service compris" in France, which means no tip is required -- although we always try to add a little extra when we receive exceptional service.) There are other examples, but the bottom line is, this place is a jewel. BTW, the pool is the perfect temperature (some pools in France can be a bit cold). Additional bonus: it's an easy 5 minute walk to Old Town Vence which is full of interesting things to see. HINT: the driveway down to the hotel from the street can be a bit hard to see -- watch for it. There are several spaces at the bottom.

Slidt men godt hotel med sødt personale.
Vi havde 3 overnatninger. Tror vi kom lige inden højsæsonen, for det virkede som om vi næsten var alene. Lidt slidt hotel, men det ser ud til at de er igang med at renovere løbende. Fin pool som vi havde for os selv alle dage. Vi havde et værelse til 3 personer og der var ingen altan desværre. Men de havde heldigvis en vaskeservice, hvor de vaskede og tørrede tøjet for 10 eur pr pose. Super hurtigt og nemt. Morgenmaden var rigtig fin, der var det meste. Super sødt personale som også kunne snakke lidt engelsk. Alt i alt et positivt ophold.
