A special place
Lovely garden. Welcoming staff. High ceilings make the room feel larger. Bright and clean. Location near railroad station is convenient and still an easy walk to the promenade.

Loved the friendly staff…first impressions-the hotel looked dated outside and we had to phone to be let in .. The shower gel/hand wash were not topped up in our room so was using the bottom of both . Good for a couple of nights

Loved the hotel. Tastefully decorated and very clean. The suites are spacious. A bit hard to find the entrance, you need to go through the parking and turn right. The immediate area is safe but not the prettiest in Nice. Everything is around a twenty minute walk from the hotel.

We loved Maison Durante! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The water pressure was amazing, we still dream about it. There were some minor issues with cleanliness, where there was hair in the bed sheets. The Superior Double room was a bit small, and the walls were thin, but other than that it was a great and convenient stay! Right in the center of Nice.

Great location
Hotel was in a great, quiet location away from the busy city center. Only downside was on the first night our AC wasn’t working. They didn’t have another room to move us in, but got us a fan (still not a comfortable first night). We were moved to another room the next night which was much better.

Nice little boutique hotel
A really nice small hotel just around the corner from Nice Ville train station. An easy walk into the old and new town of Nice, with some nice shops and supermarkets all in 10mins of the property. We didn’t have breakfast but the garden setting was nice and we did book the larger room, which had a great a shower and good air con.

We had a nice stay at Maison Durante, the hotel is absolutely beautifully decorated, very fresh and modern. The rooms are lovely and very comfortable. We stayed for a week and unfortunately, the air conditioning was broken in our room and they couldn’t fix it and couldn’t move us to another room until 5 days in to our trip so sadly our room was way too hot and uncomfortable for most of our stay. The staff were very friendly and apologetic and did what they could, just unfortunate! The rooms could also benefit from having a small fridge even just to have some cold water, especially when the room was so hot. There were a few other small issues such as no ironing facilities, had to ask for a hairdryer, and room cleaning/clean towels/extra toilet paper/etc is on request. Half way through our stay we were asked if we would like our room cleaned and we said yes but it didn't ever get done, we had to go ask for clean towels and more toilet paper. We also chose to include breakfast which was continental style and although it was very nice, there was little variety so it got pretty samey after a week! The location of the hotel is ideal for walking to most spots in Nice, and it is also right next to the train station which is handy for day trips and getting to the airport. There are many shops, restaurants and bars nearby but the hotel still felt nice and quiet and is tucked away in a little courtyard. Overall, I would recommend the hotel, we had a lovely time, just a few small issues.

The hotel location is excellent. It is very close to Train Station and the main street. The area is safe and nice. I would probably stay with Maison Durante again in the future. Staff were friendly, helpful and responsive. There is no phone in the room, you communicate with staff via whatsapp. That's what I really like about. Oh, also the keyless door lock. However, I would appreciate if they could have told us the switch of the window was broken during check in but not finding out by ourselves. It was the only window in the room and air-conditioning was disable during winter time. We didn't know until we asked. The room was very stuffy and not possible to spend a night there, so we requested to change to another room. In short, we were upgraded to a suite. The suite was great but we found out the room was actually still under renovation. Some lights were not working, no towel rack, no toilet roll holder and no hangers, some cables were dangling on the ceiling. They were installed and fixed after we came back at night on the second day. It is not a problem at all but it would make a big difference if we were well informed about the conditions of the room.

For et stilig hotell
For et flott og elegant hotell! Designmessig er det helt topp, og like stilig som på bildene. Også veldig hyggelig og service innstilt betjening. Og hotellet ligger perfekt til inne i byen. Det eneste negative er at det ikke er renhold daglig. Hvis du vil ha rengjort rommet må du be om det. Det sto ikke nevnt på Hotels.com sin nettside og det ble heller ikke opplyst oss da vi sjekket inn. Forstår ikke hvorfor det skal være miljømessig (som var begrunnelsen for ikke å rengjøre rommet daglig) å ikke tømme søppelkurver og re senger. Et minus til hotellet her!

Good value for money
We stayed here 3 years ago and were fully satisfied. In the meantime the place has undergone some improvements, our room looked like new or massivly renovated. We choosed the Durante again because we think you will get a good value for money and the location is close to everything you might like to go and see in Nice. There was no free parking as we had last time, however the nightly rate of Euro 25 is fair because the parking is right in front of the hotel and we felt safe enough to leave some of our stuff in the car. The staff is very friendly here and gave us a warm welcome. Will definitively stay here again.

Hyggeligt Nice-hotel med skønhedspletter
Vi har boet på Durante flere gange tidligere, men blev dejlig overraskede over at se, at hotellet er blevet helt nyistandsat. Men det var nok blevet åbnet for tidligt, for der var en del, der ikke var i orden. F. eks.: Klimaanlægget virkede ikke, så der var steghedt på værelset. En telefonoplader sat i 2 af stikkontakterne fik al lys til at gå ud. Lyset forskellige steder i værelset slukkede automatisk; -meget irriterende. Sæbe ved håndvasken skulle tages ved at række ind i brusekabinen. Afdelingen for morgenmad var slet ikke færdig. Men gården var hyggelig som sædvanlig og personalet meget venlige
