“A Really Nice Break”
Had a 3 day break and it was perfect! Hotel provides transport from airport to hotel which is 5 minutes away. Great service! On one of our days, we got the train to Monte Carlo which was amazing!! Only 20 minutes away! Although we selected a twin bed room, we were given a double and they couldnt change this due to the hotel being full. Bit disappointing The hotel is very close to a shopping centre, bars and restaurants A great location on the beach and also access to a swimming pool which you have to pay 12 euros for Would love to go back, a great weekend away!!
“Nice Hotel”
I definitely will stay here again. Nice area and Nice hotel in Nice
“Great hotel, clean, spacious and friendly.”
I stayed there for 3 nights this summer and found it great value for money. The room and bathroom was nicely decorated, clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly. The hotel is very near the Airport so they actually have a shuttle service that will pick you up when you arrive and take you back to the Airport when you leave at no extra charge. Its well located being near the Cap 3000 shopping mall and about 7 minutes from the St. Laurent Du Var train station. There are three swimming pools, one shallow for kids, one which is deep in the middle and one which is 1.5m deep throughout. The only complaint I have is having to pay extra for the swimming pool and internet connection. However those two things alone would not put me off staying there again since the whole experience was great.
“I would definitely go back”
This holiday was the first time that I had seen my partner for 14 months so I wanted somewhere perfect and special. I was right to have picked this place. The hotel was spotless and our room was cleaned everyday. The private beach and pool was excellent and the waiters were always willing to please. I would definitely go back and i'm just happy that everything was great for our special break. I didn't want to come home
“Great location for walkers and foodies”
Not the easiest of Hotels to find if you are driving there as it is off a side road but worth the effort. Parking is available at a public car park which is a bit of a walk away when you have suitcases in tow and there is no onsite pool to sit around, the private beach access and pool complex is across the back gardens and a small walk way, it is OK at best and gets very busy at weekends. But the surrounding area is a delight with a great costal walk that stretches for miles and lots of nice places to eat and drink. Make sure you book the best room you can afford as ours was city facing and small, garden facing rooms get a great view and lots of sun so you can sit on the balcony and relax as outside areas to sit in are very limited..
“Holiday inn St. Laurent”
Globalement bon hôtel. Mais vu le prix de la chambre, on aurais aimé que la piscine soit inclus. Petit déjeuner complet mais a un prix excessif .
“Conveniently close to airport.”
Hotel very close to airport, but still can be tricky to find it due to the setup of the roads. Hotel is on the beach, also very close to a big shopping center. Room very clean but do not expect any particular service, staff was junior.
“family summer beach holiday”
We're a family of two adults and two small kids and arrived in mid-August. As expected it was very hot and sunny. Phone the hotel to arrange a free pick-up from next to the airport info desk. The hotel decor, cleanliness and service etc were all fine. The air conditioning in the room helped but struggled a bit to cool the room to a completely comfortable temperature. The food and drinks in the hotel are expensive (we didn't use it as a result) and the private beach is an extra charge (August09 - at 12 euros per adult) but worth it occasionally especially at weekends. The public beach is fine (buy a parasol at the CAP3000 shopping centre, 5 mins walk eastwards along the seafront). If lucky, you can nab a spot under a palm tree on the beach if you need some shade. CAP3000 shopping centre makes a great retreat from the heat for a reasonably priced lunch. We also got bread, croissants etc for breakfast in our room and occasionally food, wine, etc for some fantastic evening picnics on the beach (chill drinks - purchased earlier - in the fridge of the hotel room - clear-out but dont use the drinks the hotel have for sale in the fridge and just put them back at the end of your stay). Otherwise nice but slightly pricey restaurants are along the seafront to the west and alongside the yachting marina (5 mins walk to the west from the hotel). It is a nice area and we will certainly return.
“Good Hotel - But some points to watch out for”
Have stayed here many times before, initially as a conference venue and then with my family. Positioning is excellent ( need a sea facing room ) - rooms are good. Pool is not free - you will need a day ticket ( 12 euros per head ). Many years ago it was free for hotel guests. Scrambled eggs looked very dodgy - rest of breakfast OK. Can shut the pool at short notice ( particularly towards the end of season or if it starts to rain ). Even if you have paid. Bar can be unmanned for long periods in the evening. Staff can vary - poor staff can often give you the ' gallic shrug ' if you need help. i.e. not willing to help. Children eat free voucher - most of the staff were unaware of this - particularly at the pool - and it was a pain getting a free lunch for my 3 year old grandson every time we ate at the pool. Reception staff were fine.
“Good hotel”
We went to this hotel in March, and it was very quiet, so not many people around.
