“Little gem, great location”

I stayed here after reading online reviews. It was truly a find. It is 3 blocks from the Nice train station, from where you can get to Cannes or any town in the vicinity quite cheaply (6.3E to Cannes), plus there is a bus stop at the train station where you can catch the Airport express(number 99). The hotel staff (Norbert) was GREAT and really cared about my comfort. The room was small but comfortable and clean, with plenty of outlets. The bathroom was clean and nicely appointed, with a generous and very clean tub. This hotel was better than the Hotel Martinez (rated very highly) I stayed in Cannes. The main drag in Nice- Place Massena is within walking distance, plus you can catch a tram for 1E to many options. The bfast at the hotel was not lavish but enough, coffee was good, and they gave a boxed lunch! Free wireless was the cake topper. Real good value and great location- will stay there again!

Amazing deal, with breakfast, lunch and wifi included. Staff were all great and location perfect for jumping on the train out of the city - Antibes just 25 minutes away.

“Can't wait to return to Nice”

The Best Western Riviera was exactly what we read about and why we chose the hotel. The complimentary breakfast and lunch box was perfect for those of us on a budget.......however, we splurged on dinners! The concierges (especially Natalie) at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. As noted in other reviews, the train station, tram and buses are right outside the hotel in order to travel in any direction. If there is a bus tour staying at the hotel beware that the breakfast will be gone by 7:30 a.m. Not only did one group eat everything in sight, they also packed up all the rolls, breads, croissants, ham, eggs, and even the yogurt and stuffed in their back packs. Very rude on their part, and not the hotel's fault. The night before we left, we asked for a wake-up call at 5:00 a.m. and for a taxi to be a the hotel at 5:30 a.m. to the airport. The concierge let us know that coffee and croissants would be available because breakfast isn't normally served until 7:00 a.m. and it they were provided at 5:25 a.m. which was a pleasant surprise. We definitely would stay here again!

“Excellent!!!”

Really enjoyed our experience in this hotel. Great breakfast, free welcome drinks, and most important a lunchbox everyday!!! What else can you ask for? The staff was very helpful, warm and answered every question. The room had AC and a small fridge which was very convenient. The room was small but clean and the location was great near the train station and buses. Overall, I can't recommend it enough!!! Lovely hotel, met all of our expectations and more.

“Would recommend, but read the following”

Overall a great experience, and I would definitely stay there again. I loved the included breakfast and the free bagged lunch was a nice touch. The location is good as it is close to the train station, but about a 20 minute walk to the tourist area. The staff was very friendly, the hotel was clean and everything worked perfectly. My only critiques would be the following: the rooms are quite small. I was alone, and couldn't imagine being with someone else in the room. It was quite tight, and there is no free parking (but paid parking in a garage across the street for about 20 euros per day). However, the place was great, and the price was pretty good too. I would definitely recommend it.

“Good bed rest Plus.”

We (my wife & I) have stayed in some rabbit hutches costing a great deal more than the cost of staying here. This was not a rabbit hutch however and was an enjoyable place to stay. The staff seemed to have anti surly-ness built in and were genuinely there to help if there was a problem. Add to this a decent breakfast, a (much needed in Nice) gift of a daily lunchbox, superior and quiet air conditioning, spotless-ness and a fantastic resort - we want to go back soon.

“Enjoyed the stay”

Location was nice and close to railway station so great if you want to commute to Monte Carlo, Cannes etc. Only a 15 - 20 min walk to water front. Staff were very helpful and the hotel provided not only breakfast but also a packed lunch daily! Fantastic for anyone travelling on a budget.

“Good location for transport links”

A very well located hotel near the railway station though away from the somewhat less desirable loaction immediately near the hotel. Great for walking to the city and only a few minuteswalk from the tram line. Excellent buffet breakfast and a daily lunch pack was welcome. Very welcoming and friendly hotel staff. Small room with no armchair - but that ddn't matter to someone who spent most time sight seeing.
