“Will definately go back”
This was a great relief to be able to go on a vacation and take my four-legged child with us! My family was so excited to be able to bring our dog, and with such a large park system we got the most out of it.
“Decent stay for falls touring”
This motel was an okay place to stay for a visit to the falls. We got a good rate, so I felt that it was definitely worth it. The good: - The outdoor pool is heated to a nice temperature - The rooms were quite clean. - There is a little continental breakfast area in the lobby that serves cereal, toast, muffins, coffee and juice until 9am. - The motel is located very close to the "People Mover" shuttle that takes you to all the attractions in Niagara, so no worries about parking or driving. Last shuttle runs around 10pm. - Nice views from the balcony. - Close to bike path running along river. Right by Niagara whirlpool. - Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. No problems checking in or out. The not so good: - TV channels limited and quality is not so good (I was not there to watch TV, so did not really care about this). - Bath tub was very slow to drain. You could take a shower and it would still be draining half an hour later. - Walking downtown would take forever. Suggest that you drive or take the shuttle.
“A nice place to bunk in made for a special stay”
comfortable beds - great shower with lots of hot water - clean room and bathroom - friendly welcome and adequate breakfast included. We will go back here and thank Ben and the staff for making our stay away from home comfortable for us.
“Pillows,”
I asked for 2 more pillows but was told they were sold out so none available. The 2 pillows on our queen bed were tiny. The girl @ front desk had said if we needed anything to let them know. The parking lot was not full & I could see lots of rooms that looked empty as I walked by. Anyway, I ended up finding 2 in the drawer in the room later. Why didn't he just tell me to look there? So, it all worked out fine. The stay was good. We would go back.
“pleasant stay”
Wasn't sure what to expect for such a low price but was pleasantly surprised. Staff upon checkout were very friendly and helpful. Room was not outstanding but very clean and bed was comfortable. Nice view of the river. Not a close walk to the main falls but very pretty spot anyways. Room was quiet and we had a good nights sleep. Would definitely recommend this property for the price.
“Very Adequate Motel”
The location was good being right on River Road which leads to the Falls but far enough away that there isn't a lot of traffic right outside the front door. The office staff I dealt with was polite and seemed to maintain his composure even when dealing with another customer who was upset about their stay. The building itself is aged and could use upgrades. There are visible minor cracks in the paint and the wallpaper are discolored and dirty. There is an outdoor pool which is of adequate size when not busy. The cleaning staff were friendly and did a good job. When we arrived at our room my wife wiped down the surfaces with a Clorox cleaning wipe and only got a bit of what was likely the cleaning agent they used. That said, the top parts of the walls and ceiling were not clean and a spider camped in a top corner our entire stay. We did not have enough towels for the four of us (2 adults, 2 children), especially when we wanted to use the pool but when we called to ask for more they would not bring us any. We were told we could request more from the cleaning staff in the morning (who did bring us more towels). We also ran out of toilet paper and had to get more. We were told they had issues with people taking the extra rolls. There is a restaurant right beside the hotel which is convenient but the service was questionable as I saw several patrons enter, seat themselves (it is seat-yourself) and were ignored until they finally left. Overall: an adequate 2 star motel.
“Good Value for a quick nights sleep”
If you just need a place to crash for the night, and don't expect a lot of extras, this place is great. The room was a little worn, but very clean. The beds were very good and clean. The bathroom worked fine. The TV didn't work at all, but I just needed a place to sleep so I didn't care. Free breakfast was basic, but adequate.
“Free shuttle to the falls”
My only complaint about this hotel was the continental breakfast. There was very little variety, toast or muffins and very few of them. The dining area was very small and we had to wait quite a while to be seated. Other than that it was great, the free shuttle to the falls was great.
“Most Cost Effective Hotel In Niagara Falls, Ontario!”
We were very happy with what the Hotel offered for the price we paid! The pool was on the small side, but allowed us to cool off after a long day. We ate in the Hotel Restaurant, and the service was courteous and friendly. We had no problems with anything at the Hotel, and we were only 1.8 KM from the Falls and downtown (but also far enough from the strip to get some peace at night).
“Good for the Price”
It was good for the price we payed. If you want to Jog to the falls or want to go biking to Naiagara lake ..is an 'Ok' place to stay for a cheap price.
