very good experience overall. Excellent food, sufficient and super fresh from the farmers market.
Very comfortable and clean. Make sure you are not getting in the smallest room of the house other then that is
In the morning the breakfast is most of a la carte, they honored every request and make sure every body are pleased with the food. Very abundant with fruits, ham eggs, bacon everything you can think off to make you very good.

The host was personable and friendly, and even made me special gluten-free breakfasts that were tasty and nutritious. The single harvest dining room table allowed us to meet and mingle with the other guests during breakfast, which was interesting and fun.

We stayed at the Lyons for one night the past weekend for our wedding anniversary. We were charmed right away by the beautiful garden and the decors inside the house. The room was very clean, and we also got a bathroom with jacuzzi. Howard extended a very warm welcome and was extremely helpful to recommend places/restaurants for us to go. And if all of those didn't impress , the breakfast the next day was another Wow factor. Two thumbs up to our hosts for making us feel right at home! We will definitely recommend Lyons historic house to anyone!

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Harbour House in NOTL (Niagara-on-the-Lake). The hotel was decorated very nicely and the staff was very, very attentive. It is located close to the water and is close enough a car isn't needed to reach most of the attractions, especially the Shaw Theatre. Our room had a fireplace, which we didn't use because the weather was still nice and warm, and the bathroom had a jacuzzi which we did use. It was a great way to revive some tired legs from all of the walking. We also really enjoyed the continental breakfast every morning. There are many really interesting shops in NOTL and a wide range of eating choices as well. We were there to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We celebrated our 25th anniversary in Bermuda, so we have terrific memories for both our silver and golden wedding anniversaries.

We had a lovely time at Girasol. Location is great, rooms are very comfortable, loved that we had our own washroom, didn't need to share. The bed is super comfortable, we never slept better. The owners are very nice and welcoming. It shows that they are very proud of their home, the house is absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was amazing!!!! We are still talking about our breakfast!!! All in all, we had a wonderful time here and would definatively return.

Lovely hotel with great staff and service, lovely spa and gym, large very comfortable rooms.
Main clientele seem to be conference guests and wedding parties. Breakfast was delicious and fairly priced, with great variety.
Directly opposite the hotel is a large designer outlet shopping mall, far too tempting!
Only disappointment was the location..... Taylor Road is around 10 miles long, and we were at the wrong end, so it was a fair drive into Niagara on the Lake. But that was my mistake!

From the moment we arrived at the front desk until the moment we left, every interaction with staff was excellent. Comfort and wishes of the guest seem to be paramount. We arrived late for lunch but this was no problem for them. We asked the same afternoon if there was any way we could have afternoon tea at 5.30 so we could do it as pre-theater..the Chef was happy to make it especially for us as long as we could start at 5.15 because dinner starts at 5.30. It felt like nothing was too much for their guests. I would not hesitate to stay here again. The public areas are a little old...but the service and excellent food (we had breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea) were excellent. Our room (the magnolia) was a little small but his is an old historic building so not surprising...I would not hesitate to stay here again. We stayed at several equivalent hotels in Portland, Seattle and Victoria on this trip and did not get this kind of quality, personalised service.
