We stayed at this hotel when we went on a family trip to Niagara in October. I had reserved four rooms through Expedia, and when checking in they upgraded us to presidential suites so that we could all be on the same floor. The rooms were very nice, and everything seemed clean. The only downside of these rooms was that the jetted tubs are out in the room and not in the bathroom. This was inconvenient as my wife did not want to take a bath in front of our 5 year old son, but if we hadn't been upgraded we would not have even had the jetted tub. The view is nothing special, but getting down to the water is only about a 10 minute walk and being just a bit back from the water like that does save a decent amount.
I would have liked if they had a breakfast, even continental, but we knew that when we booked, what we didn't know is how expensive everything in the area was, but that's why they call them tourist traps.
If we go back to Niagara I would prefer to stay a bit closer to the water and enjoy being right in the middle of stuff, but the group I went with had some budget constraints so we ended up further back.
Definitely a good choice for the traveler on a budget, and does not make it feel like you're a million miles away from everything. We were even able to walk it with my parent who are both in their 60s and had no significant problems.

I was a bit worried about this Hotel having read earlier reviews about it being a bit tatty but my experience was excellent. Our room was on the 30th floor and the view of the falls was spectacular especially on Friday night when we watched the fireworks from the comfort of our room. I was surprised in this day and age that I still had to pay for wifi in the room as this seems to be standard in many superior/deluxe hotel rooms these days but there was good connection in the lobby which had the added bonus of a Starbucks while I checked my emails. The concierge was incredibly helpful making sure we made the most of our time and saw all the sights.
