“Nice, clean hotel and very friendly staff. Nice restaurant attached./”
I have stayed at this Hotel a few times and each time, it is a wonderful experience. I have not yet tried the pool and that would be the only drawback. You smell the pool upon entering the Hotel and have to try to find where to check in. there is a lot of convenient parking and the staff is very helpful.
“Right of QEW-good location.”
Rooms have been updated. Good location. Fair value.
“Good value for the price.”
There are a bar and a restaurant within the building, so food is not a problem. Within walking distance to other major restaurants and fastfood places. The hotel room is spacious with a desk for computer work; a side table with 2 chairs for eating. The room is a little bit dated; (acceptable taken into consideration of the hotel's age). The staff was helpful and work hard to accommodate request. Everything was functional; my stay was comfortable with my neighbours keeping the noise level to a minimum. The only complain was dirty/dusty coffee marker. (I am not a coffee drinker, but did tried to get some hot water ...)
“A good place”
I found the hotel actually better than I had expected. Rate was good and the hotel is upgrading. Restaurants on site, and close to other attractions.
“Bon rapport”
Bien situé entre Niaggara et Toronto Bon rapport
“Back after 30years”
My grandchildren enjoyed staying at the hotel we took their dad to in 1977. Felt the swimming pool sides were a little scummy and hadn"t been brushed clean for some time. The grand kids scratched their names in the residue proving cleaning wouldn't be a big chore. If we are back that way we'd stay there again
“Good location.”
Hotel is located less than 1 mintue of the QEW.
“Last minute trip to attend the Henley Regatta”
I was very pleased to get a last minute reservation to a hotel convenient to attending the Henley Regatta in St Catharines. Unfortunatley, only 'smoking rooms" were still available. My stay was very good, my only suggestion is that the "smoking room" that I stayed in was etremely smokey and just did not smell good in general. I would suggest that the smoking rooms be aired out occassionally or additional ventilation be considered.
“Great Employee's - poor hotel”
This is an older hotel in need of upgrading. The young desk employee's were very nice. Hotel is close to QE Highway. There were some bugs on our ground floor bathroom floor, coffee and bathroom supplies not refilled for 2nd night.
“Average Price Average Quality”
My only complaint was that it seemed to be minor league hockey central while we were there. Kids running and playing in the halls. But most parents seem to keep in under control, and it wasn't noisy at night.
