“Hotel evaluation”

It is an old hotel. But doing the best w/ what they've got. We stayed here with our kids fifteen years ago and it's definitely not a four-star but suited our purposes...a clean room where we could sleep for one night. No breakfast, but there's a Perkins across the street.

“Satisfied this time”

I stayed at this hotel in the recent past. What a nightmare. If there are conventions going on, wrong place to stay when you have the kids. Nothing but adults acting like kids, and nonstop noise. The second visit was with my wife, and it was pleasant...unexpectantly. We picked a king size bed and it was very nice. There were no conventions in our wing of hotel this weekend. The newer air conditioning was very quiet, as we had probably turned it on for heat, probably the first of cold season. The hotel has it's own restarant and bar area. Very convenient when I had the kids with me. You can walk from the hotel to all local establishments. Restaurants, hotels, malls, stores, bars, groceries, etc.

“Disappointed. who you book thru or compassion?”

I booked through expedia but when I arrived on my own I advised the staff that I was there for a funeral. After 2 viewings at the funeral home I arrived back at the hotel at 10 pm and fell asleep at 12 only to be awoken by a bunch of really noisy kids at 1 am When I spoke with the staff the next day they did say they were sorry and advised me that they had hockey teams in but they were going home and that my next night would be a lot more quiet. It would have only made sense to move my room the 1st night since they knew I was there for a funeral and the hockey teams were there the same night.
