We booked this property having looked at pictures and facilities and the price being reasonable but was not informed that the hotel was undergoing changes, building work and a name change. We were woken up early by building work every day on week days and the facilities we thought were linked to the hotel did not exist. Very disappointing especially as we had no idea of the changes or had not been informed in advance of such. We were not offered alternative accommodation or upgrade to the Wyndham Gardens. The location was ideal as it was only a 10 minute walk to the Falls but hotel and faciltiies disappointing.

Tower B does not have construction on weekends so we are definitely going to look in to that. There are other buildings being built around us so we do apologize if you found it disturbing to your stay. Our facilities are located in the main building and we do provide guests a shuttle to and from each building to avoid the cold. Thank you for sharing your feedback and again we are so sorry that you were so disappointed.

We do have 2 buildings, and depending on the room type you book decides the building you are in. We have pictures of the second building when that room type is selected. 2 complaints 1 - when we opened the patio door to watch the fireworks, a lot of small flies entered our room. When we asked the front desk for Raid or even a flyswatter - they had neither nor offered any other solution. I ended up spraying them with OFF and that seemed to kill most of them. The cleaner the next day was told about them by us and where they were to clean up and vacuum the dead ones up but this was not done. 2 - Our toilet was very loose. It rocked front to back and it also turned sideways. Once again we told the front desk and was told there was a maintenance man in that day. We gave them permission to fix it while we were out and this was not done at all.

What i didnt like was our room wasnt completly furnished like the other rooms, the AC had a leak and the carpet was wet.the surprise add on costs for parking. $20:00 a day plus taxes and other fees, the in house coffee was not good!!! Had to go to Tims every morning!!! Also when we booked we thought it was a Best Western but its not, its a Wyndom, and confusing to find, the $30:00 off breakfast is a scam, they send you to a very expensive restaraunt, a breakfast that sould cost at the most $40:00 came to be $80:00 less the $30:00 was $50:00 plus a added on tip of %18!!! There was six adults in our party and were not impressed with the situation either The beds were comfotable, and not to bad for location,and if they would have included the added costs into thr room charges we probley wouldnt have noticed the extra costs, and we wouldnt have booked at Wyndom either!

We do not know who is parking so we don't include it. However we do have the information listed on our website for potential guests to review prior to booking. The vouchers are provided to us from local area restauarants, pricing varies based on what is ordered. The front desk is always happy to recommend alternatives.

We were over charged, HOTELS.com billed us in US dollars when they were in fact charged in Canadian dollars at a significantly lower rate, also we were charged a mandatory additional $20 per day fee to stay there with our car. In addition to that the hotel changed owners last April and Hotels.com was supposed to notify us but they did not, I verified this with the new owners. Also the hotel had no markings to identify it which made locating it a significant problem.

I liked how close the hotel were to the falls. The falls were right down the hill, I can see them as i was walking. I didn't like the fact we had to pay for parking at the hotel. $20 a night, meanwhile as I was walking around the area I saw hotels with free parking. They had a pool which is nice but didn't use. I hated the fact the wifi went out for a day and a half, no hot water one of the night I was there (lasted for about 2 hrs during dinner time), and the best part no water at all when it was almost time for me to check out. I won't be staying there again.

I didn't like that the outdoor pool that I SPECIFICALLY booked this hotel for is GONE. Removed. Does not exist. And frankly, the hotel isn't there either. I pulled into the parking lot - I've stayed at this hotel MANY times - to find that the hotel is now a Wyndam Garden. I was hosed out of my Best Western perks/points. I made this reservation in March. Apparently the hotel changed hands the following month. There was LOTS of time to tell me of this change. In addition the room was lacking. NO coffee cups (there was a coffee maker and all the fixings), no conditioner, no Kleenex, ice machine was broken. Lucky thing the bed was super comfy. That the room was nice and big. And that we got a higher up room with a falls-facing balcony or my birthday weekend would have been a complete bust. I'm NOT happy with the way this was NOT handled.

Older hotel recently (?) acquired by Wyndham. Good location, parking a bit expensive. Room very dated but clean and comfy. Windows dirty. Would look for another property if we were to return to the area.

We booked it as a Best Western hotel when we got there it had changed hands and half of it had been knocked down. We was not told any of this we booked because we use Best Western hotels in the UK the room we big and clean so we just made the best of it and didn’t let it spoil our holiday

The hotel itself is pretty old and shotty. We actually had to go across the street to another building to check in. They then proceeded to charge us an extra $20 plus tax a night for parking. As we were sitting on the balcony that night we noticed a young man loitering around the front entrance. When he turned his back to us he had valet written on the back of his shirt. This service was never offered to us as part of the parking fee. All in all the hotel needs some major upgrades.

The Best Western has been taken over about 6 weeks ago so mid April approx. I was not aware of this and the signage to tell you this was very small and not easily noticed.The lady on the old Western reception was not helpful at all and the detail of the changes had to be dragged out of her. Not what you want after travelling so far

Check in took forever! Front desk staff (Yu was her name) was very nice and got us squared away. The building we were in was the old best western. So it was all old. Room was alright, just old. They charge you to park in their own parking lot! That irritated me, but wyndahm is a greedy corporation. Originally we booked best western but wyndahm bought them out so we were stuck. Everybody charges for parking here though. Location is pretty decent though.

We booked this property about 3 months in advance for May, the pictures of this hotel displayed a nice clean looking hotel with an ihop and arcade. When we arrived we walked into the entrance of what was pictured (main picture of hotel with ihop) to be told this was not the check in area to walk through the back of ihop and it would be through the back door. We find that we entered a parking lot, there's a nice Wyndam hotel to the right and an absolute slum motel to the left. We head back in, ask for help again, we're lead into the Wyndam to check in. Were okay with this, it's nice too, this must be where we're staying, right? Wrong, so very wrong. We check in and are told were staying in the building across from the Wyndam and behind the hotel we booked with. The disgusting slum. We decide to have a look before we write it off. We walk up to it, to find beer cans and trash strewn all over the property and inside the building. There's construction and netting all around the back of the building as well. We didn't bother to unpack our luggage , we immediately went to ask for our money back because of the FALSE ADVERTISING of this hotel and the absolutely poor conditions of it. The manager however was extremely rude and told us that the property had been bought by Wyndham in April and that he did us a favor by keeping our reservation. It was highly insulting as this was not the place we booked and the fact we were never informed there was a change in ownership. DO NOT BOOK HERE

Check in was a nightmare! We booked through Expedia for 3 nights, but changed our reservation to only 2 nights (through an Expedia representative on the phone) when we arrived at the hotel we were told that we were charged for a no show!!! After arguing with the staff we were told it would be sorted out and we would not be charged for that missed night. They did however lose 2 of our other friends reservations! Fortunately for everyone we did get our rooms sorted and it worked out. We were in building B (formally known as the best western) the elevators are ridiculous!! Use the stairs if you can or the elevator on the far end of the hallway! It takes almost a minute for the the doors to even close!!!! The rooms were very clean and surprisingly spacious! No complaints there except that you should be prepared that there is NO MINI fridge. That was disappointing. Staff was pleasant during our stay. Pool was in good condition. Within walking distance of everything! Great location! Only about a 20min walk to Clifton Hill. Once the issue of our rooms being lost or charged was sorted out, we were pleased with our stay in this hotel!

Wyndham recently purchases the property so we had booked through best western originally. We arrived early and were given an early check in. They also gave us the option of which hotel to stay at - best Western or Wyndham....we choose the Wyndham. We were given the top floor and a very spacious room which was impressive and overlooked the city. All in all our stay was great. Would’ve liked to have a fridge and maybe microwave in the room with a little one but otherwise it was great. Glad we didn’t yay next door only because it seemed to be party central this weekend!
