“Downtown quality in Newport News”
Very nice quality hotel with plenty of amenities gives you the feeling that you are in a 5 star hotel. Spacious rooms and bathrooms and a confortable bed made for a relaxing stay. The comference rooms were well equipted and monitored by staff for cleanliness. My one negative - the bathroom lighting for the vanity was dimly lit.

Check in was quick and easy, the room was very clean. Very nice Hotel. I will be visiting the area frequently as my daughter will be going to school in the area and look forward to many more stays at this hotel....great location too!
“Would stay here again”
Great hotel, very clean, staff was helpful. I sent dry cleaning out & it came back the next day, as promised. Great location, the City Center area is really neat & it's nearby most everything you could need.
“A great hotel”
We stayed at the hotel for the weekend to celebrate our 10th anniversary, and I'm glad we picked this hotel. The service was great. Breakfast in the morning was excellent, and again the service at the restaurant was great. The bed was very comfortable, the pillows were perfect, and the covers were soft and warm. Soaps and shampoo in the bathroom were Bath and Body Works, very good quality and good scent for both men and women. Towels were soft and thick. Nice pool facility, water could have been warmed a little in the pool though. My wife and I will most definitely book this hotel again the next time we have a little weekend getaway. Though it's close to home, it's so nice and relaxing there, it makes you feel a world away.

“Just visiting”
Wonderful. Spent two nights over new years holiday in the hotel. I am originally from the area and decided to stay at the hotel with my boyfriend for the weekend and it was all wonderful. Room service was a little slow (all we asked for was a wine bottle opener) but it was a great time and we had a great view of the city center. I took all of the pictures with my iPhone.

“A Nice visit”
The hotel was beautiful located in a sqare with a foutain and little shops and restaurants, nice to walk around. We asked for a cot for our room the staff at the desk said we have couldn't have on due to fire safety issues. The next two nights someone else at the desk sent one up - go figure...
“Overall a good hotel for business travel, with a few flaws”
This hotel is badly designed in terms of access from the parking garage and the layout of the ground floor. However, the room was quiet and clean and room service was prompt. Check out was easy and efficient. City Center does not have much to offer yet in terms of dining or entertainment, but Port Warrick, just the other side of Jefferson, is more developed.
“over rated”
What really got me was, the things that are typically provided with the cost of the room were all extras. The parking, internet and I even had to pay $2 for a cup of coffeee every morning....
