“Structure of walls”

I have never stay and such a wonderful place as Country Inn & Suites. I have told so many of my friends and clients. The only problem I had was the structure of the walls. I heard all night the person in the room next to me coughing. I know that can't change that but others wise they would have received all fives. The best hotel around now for the family. This is the place for all to stay. It reminds me of a bed & breakfast.

“home away from home”

although we live in the area,we needed a break. The decor was such that we felt we were visisting family. The staff were great, friendly, and very helpful. We plan to stay when ever we need to take abreak again.

“Newport News Weekend”

I had a wedding to go to in Yorktown, so I chose this hotel for it's convenient location between Norfolk and Yorktown. It's located on a strip of road that also has lots of dining/shopping options nearby. The hotel has been partially renovated recently. There are no flat screen TVs, but the beds/bedding are comfortable and new. The air conditioner in our room would not turn off after being temperature activated to turn on. Someone came to look at this, and they were unable to fix it. We took advantage of the hot tub which was nothing special, but still relaxing. There was coffee, pink lemonade, and cookies available on our arrival. Breakfast was nice, and the flat screen TV in the breakfast nook was nice to get my daily dose of news. Books and magazines were also available to borrow from the main lobby and take back to your room to read. Overall a good experience and relaxing weekend.

“I would definately stay here again”

My flight was delayed several times and they had told me they would pick me up at the airport. The driver went to dinner and then came by to pick me up even though his shift was over. I was very satisfied with all of their help and the room was very nice.

The front desk folks were very nice, helpful and professional. The people cleaning the rooms were very friendly and did a great job.This hotel was a pleasure to stay at. Thank you very much!

“Inexpensive and clean”

This hotel is easily accessible from the Interstate (I64) and provides quiet accomodations. It was clean and inexpensive. In our future travels we will be pleased if we are able to find a place to stay that offers anywhere near comparable facilities.

Very comfortable. Stayed there when visiting child at Christopher Newport. Would stay again. Satisfying breakfast-great waffles.

Newer property with old world charm. Staff very helpful. Pool well kept, decent continental breakfast.
