The room and hallways needed to be cleaner, especially the room (nose goblin on the bathroom wall, candy wrapper in the floor by the headboard), but Cyndi at the front desk was excellent. Very friendly and welcoming.

The room had some things that needed to be repaired. The room smelled like a pet urine. They should clean rooms after pets' stay. I missed the Bible in the room, which is a USA tradition. Not able to go to the gym was locked. I suggest to open the gym earlier than 9 am. I liked the separate rooms choice for families. I liked that is a non smoke hotel. I liked the Christmas decorations including the beautiful Christmas tree.

I think this is a fair value for the pricepoint, which I would view as low-mid. The room was as described & looked renovated & clean. The bed was comfortable & the bathroom had a nice tub. The TV was the usual flat screen but needed 2 controllers to cover all of the basic functions. The checkin person was friendly, polite and efficient. The breakfast was better than anticipated, with tasty scrambled eggs, sausage patties and fresh pancakes. When in the area for another track meet, I will return here.

Hotels needs to better rate this place!
From the get go.. parking lot was small and dark, one clerk working and was taking care of a bunch of truck drivers. Gave us room key neither worked, went back out and received new, one worked and one didn’t. You could hear every noise.. loud radio played all night… a truck outside window started blowing horn at 5 in the morning.. carpets smelled like dirty feet!

We have stayed here several times overnight on our way to the Outer Banks. Our 1 king/suite was spacious and clean. Shower was hot and good water pressure!......and soft towels! Bed was medium firm and good pillow assortment of density. Did not use pool. Breakfast buffet had a variety of choices and was neat & clean. Staff have always been courteous & friendly!

Good Location
Our stay was fine. The rooms and linens could use some upgrades, but the cleanliness was good. The water in the shower took a long time to heat up. The staff are great and the outdoor pool area is relaxing.

The property was very noisy. Heard neighbors and slamming doors all morning. Breakfast had good options. Gym equipment was not working. Front desk was hard to get in touch with at all times. Had to keep asking for bedding until late in the night.

Comfortable room. Yummy breakfast. Nice front desk people. This was my second stay here and my dog feels great too. My only concern is the marihuana smell in the hallway.
