The staff went out of their way for us and our bulldog(who got sick traveling to the hotel). They quickly got us in touch with a veternarian, and when we returned to the hotel with a sedated dog, they stayed with our pet while we went out to grab a bite to eat.The hotel is gorgeous(granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors, and beautifully tiled bath.We couldn't ask for more...perfect!!!

Booked this inn for two nights to attend a wedding in Newport over on Goat Island. It was a terrific location...close to the waterfront, shops, restaurants, Tennis Hall of Fame. Only about 10-15 walk to the wedding venue. Room wasn't huge but was perfectly acceptable (we stayed in the Plantation Room which is exactly how it looks in the photos on the website). Clean and comfortable, and decent bathroom. We didn't take part in the daily breakfast or the daily wine hour because of wedding festivities. But the common areas looked very nice. My only complaint is that the night club at the end of the street (only 100 yds away or so) was loud at night...thumping music and people out in the streets. And yes, even to people who'd been returning from a hopping wedding themselves! A good thing would be to have a noise machine or even a fan in the room. Overall though, I'd definitely recommend the Almondy Inn! Oh, and there is parking and we were even allowed to check in early which was nice!

My wife and I spent two nights here on our honeymoon - a truly romantic and special experience! The staff was so kind and thoughtful - even putting water bottles in the cup holders of our car when we picked it up from the valet! We also recommend the massages offered at the spa!

We had a great experience. The staff was extremely accommodating. We were upgraded to a suite. Don't know why but graciously accepted. I was a bit concerned about the food and staff since other reviews in 2013 took the staff, service and food to task. The hotel explained that they have a new executive chef and new staff team. We were very well treated and all of our requests were positively received. We had cocktails, dinner and breakfast and the food and service was impeccable. I would go back and would recommend this facility for its location, facility high end quality and the gracious and accommodating efforts of the staff and the good food.

The hotel itself was adorable, clean, comfortable and had a lot of character. The location could not have been more perfect, being right in the middle of the town. Sam at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast had a pleasant variety and was never lacking.

We spent two nights at this hotel. It was so clean and the rooms were beautiful. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We had a great time here. In my opinion the menu for the restaurant was a bit steep but the food looked well worth it. The continental breakfast consisted of a few pieces of pastry, oatmeal and a few little muffins along with tea and coffee which was just enough to take the edge off while waiting to go out for lunch. We spent time walking around Jamestown. This is such a quaint little town and the people are so friendly and welcoming. We took a ferry over to Newport which was only about a 25 minute ride. It was nice to have the pool right at the hotel too. All in all, we will definitely go back and stay here again.
