We had a pleasant experience for one night. Clean modern rooms and quiet. Comfortable bed and clean. I feel sorry for the people who didn’t have a great experience but for a quick stop in it was great. Guess we were just lucky!

Overall good place to stay if you plan to be independent in your travel. I was disappointed by the lack of cleanliness of the suite, dishes/utensils were clearly not clean and room cleaning is only done once a week unless you pay more so the place was pretty grubby and grimey. This also meant I had to pay for towels and/or laundering during our stay because they only had 2 towels in the room for the entire stay.

They rang to confirm out booking and send the link to upload id with the online registration. Simple as, didn't have to go through reception at all. Comfortable for our requirements with a kitchen to cook in.

Love that this place is completely pet friendly, friendly staff ...Only little issue was the cleaniess of the spa in our room, but thats only little.. Everything else was great! Great work Jesmond Executive Villas!!

We stayed with our dog in a pet friendly room. It was very clean and quite new, but it didn't have any windows, only a door so felt small. The kitchenette was good but only had one spoon and limited cutlery. The bathroom was new and the linen proved was great. We did notice quite a few homeless people hanging around which made us feel a tad concerned.

Our stay was terrible, did not receive the room we had booked. The quality of the room was very poor, no tables and chairs to have a room at, no plates to even put food on, laying in bed you were two meters from the toilet and the bed faced the glass front door, which had no curtains on and when the night light on the property came on, the light shone straight into your face and made it almost impossible to sleep. By one am, we had enough and let the property. Very, very unhappy for the price we paid for the room.

Room was clean and nice, close to shopping centre and MacDonalds, contact free check in and out. However didn’t enjoyed the stay much, pool water is cold even in hot summer, pillows were firm and hard to sleep, room missing toilet bin, facial towels, dust pan, some common kitchen utensils like tongs. Some missing items were provided after the request only.

Air conditioning was not cleaned - cover broken The spa bath is very old and no shower Screen so water from hand held shower goes all over floor. Vanity unit does not have storage - cannot open Windows for fresh air!

Check in is 3 at 4 our room wasnt ready and we were sitting outside the room in our car. I called reception at 4 and they advised our room had been changed but hadnt advised us and hadnt sent any codes so we could access the room.

Leaking bathroom first night. Second night spa bath was being used on the above apartment. The guest has every right to use the facilities……unfortunately at 2am i was woken by the high pitch noise of the spa bath. In summary 2 nights of very little sleep and no rest. Had to work 16hr days in the hunter region. Couldn’t wait to get out of their.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Was filthy, stank like wet animals, very rude reception, dirty toothbrush left in bathroom, beard hair in fridge ( would say they have used the same cleaning cloth to do the bathroom and the kitchen) Mould in the bathroom, air con was dusty as Very disappointed for the money spent to stay here Asked to speak to manager and they insisted that he was not available to talk to.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Appears to have a designated 'half way house' accommodation. I had my 2 young granddaughters with me and I felt unsafe. Parking allocated to the unit was taken and then needed to park at the back and walk through what appeared to be unsavoury accommodation. When asking, in person to reception, for parking space to be reserved for my return from my grandsons 2nd birthday party, the initial answer was NO, on pressing the importance due to having 2 small girls with me, the reply was 'you can take those traffic cones and place in a spot'!! In this day and age asking a guest to do a specific O H & S wary task... really. The 'homestyle 2 bedroom' accommodation left very little to be desired! It was furnished like it was awaiting an unsavoury guest. Could not sit on the lounge... It was disgusting.... the toilet had an unsafe window with broken louvre....a ball and battery were found under the raised vanity... Was that floor mopped??? The exhaust fan in the bathroom was extremely dirty, as was the 'picture rail' in the kitchen area. PLEASE NOTE: if a 2 bedroom homestyle apartment is offered to you PLEASE BE AWARE that you are sleeping one car space away from an extremely busy road and traffic lights outside your door. At this stage if you are still reading the review you may ask why I booked.... Well the photos showed a villa set back off the road and furnishings and decor did not match at all to the reality.

1st stay was hard as couldnt see at time of booking that I was booked into upstairs & I have a hip problem Also the kitchen plug was missing & no sharp knife. 2nd stay we were in apartment 17 behind office, loved the position but the sounds from the spa motor above was disturbing . There was no plug for the wash basin so I thought it a bit unhygienic to use the spa plug that everyone bathed in. Also because the ceiling fan must not be strong enough the ceiling is mouldy. May I suggest a dish cloth also be left to use to wipe surfaces over with. There were only a tea towel & sponge & a scratchy. These werent real bad issues for us but thought you should know about them so they can be rectified for others. Otherwise, thank you for the friendly & helpful staff Elizabeth Bellamy

The property was fine and great for our small dog. The only criticism I would have is being woken up by loud arguing close to our motel soon after 6am . By the time I got up and looked outside the loudmouth had removed herself. A hard issue for you to address but it was really not pleasant.
