“NY trip”

The mega room at this hotel was very small! Space was really tight for two people...if you travel with a group of two or more...get a bigger room. Do not let the name trick you.

“Good long weekend hotel, great location”

Stayed as a couple although I travel a lot with work and am an SPG member so have exp many good and bad hotels. This is an excellent hotel and perfect location for work and holiday break. Close to everything - 5th av, central park, rockerfeller and only a 15/20 min walk to Times Square / Broadway. Great service, well maintained and a more spacious bedroom than expected. Nice bar and cocktail lounge although never tried the food. All in great hotel and good value for money.

“Well run and great service. not just for hipsters”

Extremely good service, beyond my expectations. I needed to use the hotel freezer and they couldn't have been nicer about it. They were courteous about fixing a billing error and the room service was fast. A small glitch with some missing hangers was fixed immediately. Despite the W's "cool" reputation, they actually did a great job on the everyday stuff and I would stay there again. Room rate was quite reasonable.

“Loved my stay.”

The staff went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. (I traveled with my nine year old daughter). They seemed to genuinely care about the guests there. If there was any issue, they promptly resolved it and followed through. After a guest who previously stayed in my room called the hotel, inquiring whether she had left her coat in the closet, both security and the front desk telephoned the room checking on it for her. The room service was delicious and fast. I was taken aback by the friendliness of everyone, including the maintenance men who tweaked the heater and then greeted me by name in the hall the next day. The hotel was clean, and I liked the fact that it smelled clean, too. My only complaint was that there was a dirty robe hanging in the closet, but they promptly brought me a clean one when I notified them of same. I will definitely return.

The W New York does not provide 2 double or queen beds. If I got back with more people I will have to stay at a different hotel to my disappointment.

“Excellent hotel”

Got the Wonderful Suite on sale. Great deal. Good location (close to shopping, restaurants, subway, Grand Central). Very comfortable room The hotel was undergoing renovation, so the living room area was not as comfortable. Bed VERY comfortable. Had a room facing Lexington, so a little noisy in the mornings. Otherwise, I would go back in a heartbeat.

I am extremely satisfied with my stayed at W hotel, it's in the heart of midtown (a walking distance from new york's must see).Everybody at the hotel was very nice, they have the best products in the rooms (bliss, which i even bought so i can use it at home), the room decoration and usage of space is excellent, and the best part of my experience was the BED... i wanted to bring it home with me!... i give this hotel 6 stars.

“Great Place to Stay”

A great place to stay. Typical boutique NYC hotel Staff and facility very nice. Just a few blocks from Rockefeller Center, Times Sq. & a short cab/subway ride to anywhere in Manhatten.

“Boutique hotel in New York”

I slept like a baby on the comfortable bed. The room is like other boutique hotels - small. But ours was clean and more than enough room to crash for a night of much needed sleep. The doorman when we left asked if we remembered all of the important stuff that you could leave behind. He was polite, happy and very helpful. A good way to start our day. Location is perfect. Would definitely stay here again and again.

Great location in Mid-town, Very clean hotel with loads of amenities...like the Bliss spa with priority bookings for hotel guests, fitness area, one lounge and the Whiskey Blue bar. Rooms are comfortable with the W signature beds and enough room to unpack and move around. Have stayed at multiple W Hotels in NYC and have stayed in this one twice now due to location. You can't go wrong with a W Hotel.
