Centrally located in Midtown Manhattan, the stylish W New York is a magnet for fashionable locals and visitors. Food and drink options include a restaurant specializing in healthful cuisine with natural ingredients; Rande Gerber's popular Whiskey Blue bar, which stays open until the wee hours; and 24-hour room service.
The two-story Bliss Spa (surcharge) features manicure-pedicure stations with personal headsets, flat-screen TVs, and DVD players. Locker-room treats include wine, beer, cheese, and brownies (surcharges).
W New York's Whatever/Whenever service (surcharge) is available to fulfill guests' needs and wishes--from a bathtub full of hot chocolate to helicopter pick-up of a wedding dress. Dogs at this pet-friendly hotel receive the W dog treatment, which includes a turndown treat on the dog bed and a check-in package containing a pet toy, treat, and bone.

Guestrooms at the W New York hotel, renovated August 2008, feature custom-designed headboards with backlit abstract art. Featherbeds include pillowtop mattresses, 350-thread-count linens, and goose-down comforters and pillows. Bathrooms are equipped with showers only or shower/tub combinations, makeup mirrors, terry/piqué spa robes, and Bliss bath products.
Other amenities include CD and DVD players, minibars, multi-line cordless phones, and wireless Internet access (surcharge). Guests can rent CDs and DVDs from an extensive library.

Heartbeat - Serene setting with a waterfall. Menu featuring natural, organic ingredients. Health-conscious comfort food such as pepper-rubbed New York strip steak with buttermilk mashed potatoes or salmon burger with marinated vegetable salad. Breakfast and lunch served Monday–Friday; brunch only on Saturday and Sunday.
Whiskey Blue - Founded by hotel and restaurant entrepreneur Rande Gerber. Candlelit lounge with supple leather sofas and sophisticated cocktails. Open from late afternoon until late night.
Oasis Bar - Zinc-topped bar adjoining the lobby living room. Open from late afternoon until late night.

W New York's complimentary SWEAT fitness center provides elliptical trainers, stair machines, and treadmills.
One mile away, Central Park provides 843 acres of landscaped gardens, lakes, winding paths, fields, and recreational facilities. There are paths for running, biking, and in-line skating, as well as 30 tennis courts, six miles of horseback-riding trails, and a seasonal lap pool. The Loeb Boathouse, on a 20-acre lake, offers rowboat and bicycle rentals.

“Can't wait to go back”
I am extremely satisfied with my stayed at W hotel, it's in the heart of midtown (a walking distance from new york's must see).Everybody at the hotel was very nice, they have the best products in the rooms (bliss, which i even bought so i can use it at home), the room decoration and usage of space is excellent, and the best part of my experience was the BED... i wanted to bring it home with me!... i give this hotel 6 stars.
“Great Place to Stay”
A great place to stay. Typical boutique NYC hotel Staff and facility very nice. Just a few blocks from Rockefeller Center, Times Sq. & a short cab/subway ride to anywhere in Manhatten.
“Boutique hotel in New York”
I slept like a baby on the comfortable bed. The room is like other boutique hotels - small. But ours was clean and more than enough room to crash for a night of much needed sleep. The doorman when we left asked if we remembered all of the important stuff that you could leave behind. He was polite, happy and very helpful. A good way to start our day. Location is perfect. Would definitely stay here again and again.

Great location in Mid-town, Very clean hotel with loads of amenities...like the Bliss spa with priority bookings for hotel guests, fitness area, one lounge and the Whiskey Blue bar. Rooms are comfortable with the W signature beds and enough room to unpack and move around. Have stayed at multiple W Hotels in NYC and have stayed in this one twice now due to location. You can't go wrong with a W Hotel.

The stay was amazing. It was centrally located all around New York. The staff was very helpful and the hotel was beautiful. I would recommend the hotel to anyone.

The W New York is the best hotel I have ever stayed in...and I have stayed in lots! The room was small and perfectly quaint...the beds were so comfortable, the staff was kind and attentive...the bar in the hotel lobby was comfortable and warm with good service, as well. The hotel smelled wonderfully of fresh fruit and candles. The concierge service was second to none. I would highly recommend this hotel for any reason you are in NYC...the location is great, we walked almost everywhere from there. I will stay there again and again as I visit New York.
“Nice hotel, small room”
I elected to have a "cozy" room since I was traveling alone this trip. As in many hotels in New York, cozy means small. Despite that, I found the room comfortable.
“comfort to the max”
This hotel has charm and atmosphere. The staff are friendly,courteous and helpful. The room was better than I imagined and with a price that was reasonable beyond a doubt. Furthermore, it is near some of the most fantastic sites for tourism purposes. I highly recommend this hotel to any traveler.
