“Best kept secret”

Loved the hotel - great location - lovely surroundings - extremely clean. The front desk staff however need a lesson in customer service as most days we felt like we were inconveniencing them with our questions. We would definately stay here again only because of the room comfort - not the service...

“We loved the Wall Street Inn”

Amazing location: minutes to Freedom Tower, Broadway, Stock Exchange, Battery Park, Staten Island Ferry, Trinity Church, museums and more. Around the corner on Stone Street, this old cobblestone lane is now closed to auto traffic, so the pubs and cafe on either side have put up picnic tables and umbrellas on the road. Have a delightful, affordable new meal every day, in a cozy, friendly urban oasis. We walked to the WTC, found a Starbucks a block away. Very historic part of the city. Busy but not insane or too loud. Mix of tourists and locals keep it "real." Hotel is very quiet and clean. Free, fast reliable Wi-Fi and 700 channel satellite TV. Thoughtfully decorated room with colonial touches to reflect the area's history. Polite, helpful staff. The free continental breakfast could be better but it is a great idea on their part and they should spend a little more $ to make it a lot better. If you are visiting NY and planning on visiting the 9/11 memorial and surrounding sites, the Wall Street Inn is ideal. We were absolutely delighted with the location and service and will stay there again when we return. Tell the cab driver to take you Delmonico's and you'll be a half block away from the hotel, if that. Otherwise the Hotel is not famous yet and they aren't quite sure where it is. Down a little side street. Very charming and handy.

“Excided expectations.......... loved it”

My friend and I went to New York for Labor Day weekend 2007. This was our first trip to New York and we wanted something descent and affordable. This hotel was more than we asked for. It was very clean and the staff was very helpful. The room, though small but very practical, it had everything that you need and more. The location is great for business travelers and leisure. If youre in town to shop, sight seeing or party its great. Battery Park, WTO, Wall Street 5 minutes waking. Midtown (Times Square, Broadway ) 5 subway stops or 10 minute cab ride. First day we walked to NYU it didnt take that long. Plus while you walk you can shop. Anyway we left Wall Street Inn with a very good feeling. I would give it 5/5. Very satisfied

“Very nice and clean hotel”

A wonderful boutique hotel at the southern end of Manhattan. Very pleasant and quite near to subway lines and good pubs and restaurants. The room was spacious and well appointed. The bathroom was up-to-date and there was always plenty of hot water. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great, and there was always enough variety. Not a large hotel, but the smaller size is exactly what I wanted. I will gladly stay there again.

“Good value, clean”

We stayed with my parents who were on their first trip to New York. Staying over a weekend you get a good deal at this hotel. Although it's a little out the way (Wall Street is a ghost town at the weekend), it's only about $25 in a cab or a short subway trip to Midtown. It's also close to the ferry if you want to go to the Statue of Liberty. The breakfast is fine - bagels, pastries, cereal. The staff are somewhat eccentric but happy to help. The hotel is a little run down - the lift broke down on our last day, the air conditioning/heating is hit and miss, and a lot of the windows and curtains don't work perfectly - but it is kept scrupulously clean. The beds are comfy (and huge if you get a one bed room).

“wall street hotel”

Wonderful hotel. Would prefer more counter space in bathroom for toiletries. My room was in a little alcove with another room and next door guests walked in and out of their room a half a dozen times at 3 am on sunday am which disturbed us. Otherwise the rooms are soundproof.

“Good”

overall the hotel is quite good. Because my room is on the Stone St. side, it was a bit noisy at night.
