“Excellent hotel in good location.”

Very comfortable, good size room unusual for New York. Very helpful staff, especially reception staff. Excellent breakfast. Very good location, close to Grand Central station. Would certainly stay here again.

“Looking forward to my next visit in October 2010”

Your restaurant is the best-kept secret in NY and that is what makes it so special. The service is superb and the food is always good to great. It was recently renovated - my family and I are not in total agreement with the new decor. It was different, functional and comfortable but I am a fan of the ttype of decor one used to find in the Laurent - something more traditional. Still, it was a great experience.

“Can't wait to go back”

We found the The New York Helmsley to be centrally situated, i.e. close to Grand Central Station, Times Square, the United Nations Building and the Chrysler Building. The service we received from the staff was outstanding. Harry's Bar and Mindy's Restaurant were both well appointed and well served. A must stay for anyone visiting New York.

“More than pleased”

This was a special holiday for my wife and I, it was also her first visit to NYC. We would definately stay in the NY Helmsley Hotel again, we were more than pleased with the size and cleanliness of the room, the staff in general were friendly polite and helpfull, the location of the hotel is great as it is in walking distance of Grand Central Station,Times Square and Central Park.

“A very good hotel”

We were very happy with this hotel. Great location close to Grand Central station and other attractions. Very friendly staff, good size rooms. Have stayed in other hotels for similar price and Helmsley is much better.

“Convenience and Comfort”

We stayed at the Helmsley on 42nd St for one night while in Manhattan touring the sites. The room was very competitively priced and you can not beat the location if you are there on leisure: quiet but only a short walk from Times Sq, right by Grand Central, the UN (btw, not open on weekends). I think it's better than staying in Times Sq itself, you avoid the crowds and traffic.
