“Better than we had hoped”

The hotel staff went above and beyond making us feel at home during our stay. They were all without exception friendly and helpful. The location is great for sight-seeing as you are right in the middle of everything. We will stay there again and are already recommending the Benjamin to all our friends.

Easy access to subway(s). Knowledgeable Concierge. Attractions, shopping, eating, all in neighbourhood and walking distance. Having a functional kitchenette is great for intimate in-room picnic or breakfast (would only wish a full-size coffee maker was available!)

I can only praise the hotel and its Staff our stay was wonderful the front of house staff could not be more helpful all staff we encounted in the hotel where very helpful the room was very well equipeted the small kitchen was very usefull as my mother is diebetic so need to eat regular so to have the kitchen area was graet for her needs the room was very comfortable and the pillow menu was a great plus as when your on your feet allday its great to have a comfy bed to get in to so the choice of pillows where just heavenly, we will be booking this same hotel for our next trip to new york and recommend this hotel. service was very good

Kudos to the staff at the Hotel Benjamin for some very impressive customer service and kudos to the management for getting the staff to buy into it. From the initial greeting from a very professional courteous reception desk employee to the pleasant doormen to the pleasant room attendants to the pleasant concierge, I felt welcome at the hotel. My room was very comfortable and I made use of their well-equipped fitness center. They offer a free pillow menu where you can choose from a dozen or so different pillow types to suit your sleep needs. The hotel is well-situated in midtown Manhattan and there is a subway stop right behind the hotel. There is also a very busy restaurant next door that does a great breakfast business. I will look to stay at the Hotel Benjamin when I return to New York.

“Great Location”

We took a weekend trip to New York with the kids. We booked a one bedroom queen suite online and the staff upgraded us to a king because whe completed the special request section on the reservation. The room have one bathroom and a kitchenette which was nice. The layout was a little tough because the kids had to go into our room to get to the bathroom. I know they have other one bedroom suites with two bathrooms so you can make that request if this will be an issue. The price was certainly much better that the other similar hotels in the area. We actually walked to the Empire State Building. We took a taxi to Time Square but its about the same distance. Our only complaint is that we requested turn down service the night we arrived and housekeeping was about an hour late. There are no bathrooms on the ground floor but they are located in the conference area on the second floor. If you check out at noon and want to get your bags later the staff will keep them in storage until you need them.

“Excellent Hotel Choice”

We were completely impressed with the Benjamin Hotel. It was our first time staying there and had not heard of it before we found it via Expedia online. It's an elegant hotel in a great mid-town location. The staff was very professional and helpful and the price was quite reasonable when compared to other NYC hotels. Highly recommend it!
