“St. Giles NYC”
Best value for money!
“Will come again”
We arrived with our 2-year old toddler during the storm and doorman (Carlos if I remember) was extremely helpful. At reception, they couldn’t find our reservation from Expedia. It was good that I had printouts of confirmation emails with me. The problem was resolved very soon and our room was upgraded. Few small things needs to be repaired. Wireless Internet service in our room didn’t work properly all the time but the business center is excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful, housekeepers are excellent. The location is very good. We’ll definitely stay in the same hotel again.
“Fulfilled expectations”
This was a great hotel and I would definitely recommend. It's in a fabulous location - the Chrysler Building was right outside my window and it was a short walk to the NY Public Library, Bryant Park, the subways etc. I was traveling as a woman on my own, at the end of a business trip. I felt really safe and the front desk people were extremely helpful. My room was very well sound proofed, and although I noticed that there were a lot of 20 and 30-something guests (it was a weekend), I heard nothing on Friday and Saturday nights - slept like a log. I only had one tiny complaint which was that the lighting was extremely dim, so for working on my laptop it wasn't ideal; but I just took my laptop down to the local Starbucks and also Bryant Park, both with free wifi. I got a great deal through Expedia and all in all I'm a happy customer. i'm a regular visitor to NYC by the way and this compared well to other hotels I have stayed in.

“Loved it!”
It was a beautiful boutique hotel. The staff was friendly an helpful. The room was beautiful and very large for New York City. There were only a few rooms on the floor and mine was in the back so it was very quiet. It was only a couple of blocks from Grand Central Station and subway lines.
“Some Minor Glitches But Outstanding Value”
This hotel is an outstanding value in a great location (2 blocks from Grand Central Terminal). A bit of a hike to the Theater District but not prohibitive. European style hotel. Some minor glitches with our room; air conditioner tended to freeze up at night and some of the lamps were not very bright, but room on the whole was very large and comfortable. Staff extremely friendly and outgoing; very responsive. Clientele interesting mix of ages and nationalities. We would not hestiate to go back or to recommend to others.
“Great place to spend my wedding night!”
My husband & I wanted to spend the night in manhattan after our wedding reception. The hotel is conveniently located in midtown and within easy walking distance of all of the touristy stuff, but off of the beaten track away from the craziness of Times Square. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and the staff was extremely friendly, despite the fact that it was the middle of the night by the time we checked in after our wedding. We paid for a standard room, but they upgraded us to a suite for free because we were newlyweds. The suite was huge! I would absolutely stay at the St. Giles again & would recommend this hotel to anyone. It was the perfect place to spend our first night as a married couple!

Hotel was clean, convenient with a small grocery store within a block to get breakfast essentials. Centrally located whether we wanted to go up or downtown & only a short walk to the subway.
“Can't wait to go back!”
It was a great location and the room was big. We stayed on the 8th floor with a king size bed. The only complaint we have is that the room temperature we were unable to change. We kept making it cooler, but it always stayed the same. We would definately stay in this hotel again!
“Design et tranquillité”
Je me suis basée sur les avis expédia pour mon choix et je n'ai pas été déçu la chambre est plus que spacieuse et même si elle donnait sur la rue, nous n'avons subi aucune nuisances sonores tant de l'extérieur que des autres chambres. Les horaires de petits déjeuners sont larges laissant donc le choix d'une grasse matinée ou d'un réveil tôt pour la découverte de la ville Le quartier est calme et donc sûre a toute heure pour un retour tardif a pied Avec certitude je recommande et reviendrai ici
