“clean convient hotel”
hotel was clean and very convient location right off highway.
“Front Desk Staff Extremely Helpful!”
Upon entering the hotel I found that I had left my purse in the taxi. The front desk staff did all they could to help me retrieve my purse, including paying for a limo to take me back to the airport, so that I could track down the cab driver to see if my purse was still in the cab. It was, and so were all the contents! I was very impressed with their concern, kindness and quick action.
“Good place to stay for Manhattan”
It was a very nice, clean hotel. If you can spare the extra travel time, it is probably cheaper to stay here and take the train to Manhattan than to get a hotel there. Parking was free at this hotel, and can easily cost $30/day or more in Manhattan. Much cheaper than taking a taxi or parking in Manhattan, the hotel provides a free shuttle to the NJ Transit Secaucus Junction train station, which takes you to New York Penn Station in just one stop for around $3.25. From there you can take the subway to anywhere in New York City for around $2. Both of those are even cheaper with a round-trip ticket on NJ Transit (only valid outside of rush hour) and a multiple-ride MetroCard with bonus (valid anytime, details clearly listed in ticket vending machines). The shuttle boards at the front door and the front desk can give you a schedule.

a fantastic hotel to stay at, the service and people we're very friendly and always willing to help. there are lots of places to eat and visit such as the outback steak house and approx a 20min drive to new york not forget the excellent food at the hotel. i am going back to america in 2009 and will certainly stay at another sheraton hotel.
“Excellent Hotel at affordable price”
This hotel was an excellent choice for our short visit to the New Jersey/Manhattan area. Compared to Manhattan, the rates were about half the cost, and the hotel provides free shuttle service (at designated times) to the nearest train station, which is only 1 stop from Penn Station in Mid-town Manhattan. Within 20 minutes we were able to get from the hotel to the city.
“Sheraton Meadowlands is an excellent choice”
The Sheraton Meadowlands is an excellent choice to enjoy the NYC area with excellent shopping, dining & entertainment choices within an easy drive of the hotel. The Lincoln tunnel & Manhattan are within easy reach by car or using NJ Transit. For sports entertainment, Giants stadium & other venues lsuch as the arena are nearby. Garden State Plaza & the Willowbook Mall areas are 2 major shopping areas within a 20 mins. drive of both, & lots of factory outlet shopping is available in nearby Secaucus.
“Would recommend”
Brilliant value for money. The hotel is clean, modern, with great facilities. If I were to visit New York again I would definately stay in this hotel, as it is perfect for people travelling on a budget. The pool is regularly cleaned, and offers a great view of the Manhattan skyline, and the pool/gym area is fairly quiet at all times. The only negatives I can think of is that at peak times it was sometimes a challenge getting on the free shuttle to and from the train station, more shuttles are definately needed, and there are I wasn't aware of any food stores within walking distance to the hotel.
