This was a perfect location in Soho. The hotel was very nice. The beds were comfortable and the amenities were on point. However, the lobby because a bit of a night club seen in the evening and the music was blaring until 1am. I could hear the base pounding on the 4th floor and the other members in my party could hear it on the opposite wing of the hotel on the 3rd floor. May want to skip if a good nights rest on a Saturday night is important to you.

On the 3rd floor, couldn’t sleep due to pulsating music in club/bar down below until 3-4 AM. Also woke up to two drunk girls screaming and lying outside my door (from club). I’m easygoing but all this was a bit much. They were apologetic in the AM but shouldn’t have to deal with this for a nearly $600 price tag. Room was modern and spacious for nyc. Location was fantastic.

I was really unhappy staying here. I thought the location was great in Soho but my comments relate to the hotel. They put me and my daughters on the 3rd floor in a double deluxe and we literally got no sleep on Saturday night bc there was all night music pounding away in the lounge below us. They only credited us a small amount for the inconvenience which was the resort fee which I didn't even know about beforehand. They should have been more gracious for a 3 night stay!

DONOT stay here if you want to sleep. The weekend bar/nightclub scene at the hotel is VERY loud and the beats kept me awake until the early hours

Only compliant is that the bouncers that run the lounge need to recognize hotel guests as separate from patrons of the lounge after hours. If I'm staying at the property with my family, I really don't need the bouncer blocking the hotel door and asking me "am I staying at the hotel"....Set up a different entrance to avoid that.

We lived the location of this hotel, it was close to shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The views from the rooftop were amazing.

Pros: great location, good size room, easy check in Cons: club in the lobby so loud music until 3am, poor sound proofing of room, overhead lighting in the bathroom so very bad for makeup application, dark room, pillow options all felt the same.

Noisy and smelly
Couldn’t sleep well as you can haar everything. Flushing toilets, people in the halls etc. Hotel and rooms smell bad. Great location.

It's perfectly fine but for what it is it's very expensive -well located and a decent sized room for NYC but very little natural light in the room, crazily priced mini bar and room service options and the adjoining rooms plumbing was very noisy......

Very stylish design! Great location and great staff. A bit overpriced. I’m only giving it 4 stars because it’s a converted old building. One hears conversations in other rooms through the vents and really notices if they flush a toilet upstairs. All that said, I would still go again.

The only complaint was the night club in the lobby. After a long day of enjoying NYC, when I finally put my head on the pillow, I could hear the thump, thump, thump of the club music below.

How do they get away charging that price?
Had the worst nights sleep of my life, with some kind of nightclub raging until 3:30am and dumpsters being emptied for 20 minutes at 4:30am. Butterfly Bar bouncer was very rude. The only thing nice I can say is great location.

This hotel was shockingly terrible- probably the worst hotel in soho. Years ago before it was acquired by the sixty hotel group it had a very good reputation and my goodness, how the mighty have fallen. My mom and I arrived on Thursday evening. There was no valet parking and it was pouring raining. We parked in a garage around the corner, walked to the hotel, and there were ropes in front of the entrance- it looked closed. We entered, and took the elevator to the the lobby on the second floor. We stayed in the deluxe king room - it was tiny and there was nothing deluxe about it. I can’t believe the hotel had rooms smaller than ours. The bed was awful- so hard and uncomfortable. The toilet paper was thin and rough. There was a tacky sign in the bathroom that warned “if you take this bottle of lotion you will be charged $30”… the bottle of voss water was $12. Yes, $12 for a bottle of water. The shower had no water pressure and all night long the sounds of honking woke us up. The staff was incredibly rude - my 70 year old mother asked for a bottle of water at the front desk and was told “we only offer complimentary water until 6pm” - it was 7pm. I guess people don’t drink water after 6? It also took 3 tries to get a room key that worked. If you love crappy, mediocre hotels this is your place. If you enjoy luxurious accommodations and good service, avoid at all costs
