“Good for the money !”

This hotel was great! the only inconvenience i had was that when we got to (la guardia airport) there was no Shutter available to the hotel. Which they had told me there will be. But do have to say that there was one available the day we were leaving. (REMEMBER TO ASK FOR IT) ! Hotel is really near the subway about 2 blocks of walking Breakfast is included (Continental) Hotel is really close to the airport (la Guardia) about 10mins

“Great affordable hotel with wonderful service”

We had a terrific stay at the Red Roof Inn - Flushing. We were attending the US Open Tennis event, which is walkable (during the day). The hotel is also convenient to NY public transit, many restaurants, and a mall. The hotel was very clean. The most outstanding feature of our stay was the helpfulness of many of the staff members. We had the impression that they were genuinely concerned with our well-being and enjoyment while at their hotel. They were very helpful with answering our (many) questions and connecting us with taxis, etc. It was nice to have some continental breakfast choices to start our day. Overall, a great experience. The Red Roof Inn - Flushing is not a luxury hotel, but definitely met our needs of a reasonably priced, safe, clean and convenient room to sleep while out and about in the NY area.

“A Great Bargain -- very comfortable stay”

I got a room here for one night while in town to give a talk at a law school, and since someone else was paying the bill I wanted to be frugal. This was less than half the cost of the other hotels I had been considering, and all things considered it was a wonderful experience. Very nice people, quiet, comfortable -- no complaints. Well, there were features that were a bit high-tech for me -- I couldn't find the slot to insert the credit card--type key, and only by chance did I pass it close enough to the sensor so the door unlocked. You then have to place one of the keys in a slot on the wall so the electricity will work (I suspect this reduces energy waste when people leave all of the lights on as they leave to check out -- in any event, it was not a problem), and I never did figure out how to switch the water pouring into the tub to the shower outlet! But I'm certain that had I asked they would have sent someone up to help me (or explained it over the phone).

“Valuable Hotel for NYC Trip”

Very nice hotel, & friendly service. I feel much more comfortable to stay at this Red Roof than others under the same brand. If you feel nice in an Asian environment, this is the best to stay for a NYC trip. Just walk for three blocks, and you could take subway #7 direct to Grand Central & Port Authority. If the subway is an express one, it saves a lot of stops and time. As for me, I had some urgent things to deal with and had to stay for two nights. The hotel staff helped me very friendly.

“Needs Improvement”

Overall the Flushing Red Roof Inn was ok. The entrance to the hotel is small. May I recommend that the entrance area/check-in counter be more welcoming. When we first arrived the staff did not look professional, however were nice. Rooms are quaint, but small. We stayed two nights. The maid did not clean the room very well after the first night (i.e., did not vacuum). As well, the elevator was sometimes dirty (i.e., spills, trash, smudges on window). We would come again. Just think the hotel could look and feel a little better..

“Great location to watch the New York Mets.”

The hotel was easy to get to using public transport (JFK Airtrain + subway). Staff were very friendly. I really appreciated the free Wi-fi in my room.The fridge in my room was also very handy. Large supermarkets were within easy walking distance. It was only one subway stop away from Citi Field (New York Mets), where I spent a lot of my time. About 25 to 30 minutes to travel by the subway to Manhattan (this journey was a bit crowded at times too).

“Affordable Hotel for travellers with limited budget”

This hotel is located in ChinaTown in flushing. 5 mins walk to the nearest subway (line 7) that will bring you to Times Square for 30-45 mins. There's lot Asian restaurant within the vicinity, there's Thai,Viatnamese,Chinese cuisine to choose from. For Filipinos like me, Jollibee is accessible tru line 7, just get off to Woodside station. This hotel is very affordable if you have limited budget I advised you to book on this hotel. Clean and nice room with free continental breakfast not bad at all. One comment though is that they have very poor WIFI signal in the room.

“No Parking”

The Red Roof Inn, Flushing, NY was fine except that they did not have free parking. I made my reservations several months ago and I thought that their web site said that they offered free parking but upon arrival I discovered that the web site had been changed and free parking was not available. Parking in the area is very limited and there is a parking garage across the street. If you park on the street read the signs carefully. I didn't and my car was towed, $185 plus a $60 ticket.

“A nice hotel to consider while visiting NYC”

It's nice and clean. Very easy to take the subway.
