“Clean, convenient, comfy”

Had a very happy stay - this is a convenient hotel for the airport. You wouldn't choose it for the ambience or pleasant surroundings, but my room was comfortable, practical, clean, easy to find (I had a rental car and did not know the area, but you could easily get here on public transport which is a major plus). Nice flat screen TV; nothing to complain about. The complimentary breakfast was surprisingly good, including freshly made waffles - most impressed. I was staying on my own - a single woman - and would definitely stay here again.

“Gets the Job Done”

It's located on an odd street, right across from a major train station. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and not small by NYC standards. Complimentary breakfast was standard fare. It seems to cater to travelers, which is not a surprise given its proximity to the train station and the airports. However, there are just 11 parking spaces in the hotel's lot, and limited parking nearby. It's about a 15 minute drive from St Johns University.

“a cozy haven”

what a great stay! the room was very clean.the bed was excellent! i surprised my wife with a nights stay.i had decorated the room with scented candles.i put some champange on ice! we were on the sixth floor.we enjoyed the view of the surrounding neighborhood at night. what a great time we had.she was very pleased. we will be back!

“near airport hotel”

The taxi driver had difficulty finding the hotel - he had not been driving for very long. It is in a neighborhood of homes. Initially I was a bit concerned, but the hotel, the staff - all was completely OK. We were very tired from travelling, but the night desk clerk could not have been more helpful with luggage and getting to our room. Room clean and very comfortable - bed was great!

“Close to the city and JFK”

When I first turned up to the hotel, I thought OMG the location was a little dodgy, and the outside of the hotel looked quite cheap, but what did I expect, I had never stayed in a 2-star hotel before. But when I got into my room I was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean although small (you can purchase a larger room for a higher price), and the shower was clean and private. Breakfast was complimentary and decent but limited so don't expect luxury here. Also, there was free internet access which was heaven especially for those of you who are addicted to checking Twitter or Facebook like I am. The first member of staff I met on my arrival on 24th March was kind, sweet, pleasant and helpful and made me more comforatble about staying here. But there was another lady who seemed to be quite abrupt, and unhelpful. Overall, I would stay here again if I came to New York and I was short of cash. The subway is like 1 min walk from the hotel and takes you into the city in like 15-20mins. Also, it's close to JFK so it's ALMOST impossible to miss your flight home.

Good service, good room, not a particularly great location, but easy to get to public transport and reflected in the price. Highly recommend.

this hotel was great for metro into New York, good rooms with a great choice for breakfast. You can also leave your bags in hotel and travel into the city if you have a late flight home at no extra charge

The hotel was very clean and neat, up-to-date, modern. The bed was very comfortable. We would stay there again.
