“perfect in every way!”

Every thing about this hotel was perfect. the location was just right, only a few blocks away from what ever you need to do, and the rooms have every thing you need and more. i will be staying again in this hotel :)'s all the way!

“Excellent, nice and clean, friendly door men, perfect location, plenty of space”

Would definately recommend on the basis of the room we had. No problems, plenty of space, cable tv, broadband, quality sounds system, comfortable bed, decent quality fittings, perfect location 5 mins from 5th avenue, grand central station and the UN. Much better than a hotel.

“Parfait pour un séjour à New-York”

Appartement très bien situé à Manhattan. Le linge de lit et les serviettes moelleuses sont fournies. La cuisine est très complète (micro-onde, casseroles, cuisinière etc.) mais il n'y a aucun aliments de base (huile, sel, poivre, etc.). L'endroit est très calme (double vitrage) et meublé avec goût. Un grand supermarché Morton est sur la 2nde avenue à 5 minutes à pied. Vous y trouverez de tout et notamment des plats cuisinés délicieux. Le studio est spacieux et parfait pour 2 personnes mais conviendrait aussi à 4 personnes sans problème (canapé lit). Les portiers sont discrets mais aimables et serviables. Ils peuvent garder vos valises jusqu'à midi le jour du départ.

“what Hotel..?”

Is not Hotel at all, It is like an apartment, but has no room service, no maid until you're gone, so keep it clear.! Some stuff look a little old, and the towells were kind of ugly. The location is great, and that's all in NY.. the room is big enough and you will have lots of day light, free wi-fi internet is a plus, poor tv system, forget the kitchen, but bathroom is fine, I would return but will take towells with me because that's not right for the price you're paying.

“Comfortable, convenient and good value”

These are scattered apartments in a private block - we were in 8E, a studio facing the front, which had a ) queen bed plus a convertible sofa and a folding bed. It was equipped with table + chairs and adequate kitchen equipment and china for up to 6 but would have been pretty cramped for more than 2. Nice bathroom and small but adequate kitchen. with fridge/freezer, full size gas cooker, dishwasher and coffee machine. No plugs in sink, basin or bath/shower. Good quality towels and bedding. Far too many mirrors - including one whole wall! There is a 24 hour doorman but he has nothing to do with managing the apartment, so no "service" as such. Check in isn't until 4pm and you had to be out of the apartment by 10am, though some people had clearly made arrangments to leave luggage in the lobby with the doorman. Front apartments quite noisy o/a traffic - ear plugs essential for a good night's sleep! Good lifts. The air-con appeared to have been switched to "warm" for the winter and the temperature couldn't be adjusted though it was over 60 outside (but it could be switched off!). 2 openable windows.The Wifi worked. There is a grocery store just round the corner in 2nd Ave. Handy for the 15 north/south bus line and not far from the subway station at 42nd St/ Grand Central. We enjoyed our stay - it was comfortable and very good value, but some might not like the lack of service.

“Oxbridge Midtown East Apartments : Bon rapport qualité prix et pratique”

L'appartement que nous avons loué était d'un bon rapport qualité/prix (pour le tarif que nous avons eu car celui-ci change constamment) au vue de son emplacement de choix. Il est situé entre deux stations de métro permettant de rayonner dans Manhattan, à deux stations de Times Squares. Le choix d'un appartement plutôt qu'un hôtel, a un côté pratique et économique. L'appartement était bien équipé, propre et lumineux (mais le portier de l'immeuble pas toujours très aimable). Il possède de nombreux couchages, donc idéal pour petits budgets entre amis (lit double, canapé dépliant, plus un lit simple d'appoint). Le bémol serait la chaleur dans l'appartement lorsqu'il a fait beau, l'air conditionnée n'était pas très puissante (non réglable) et certainement vieille. Les deux petites fenêtres pouvant s'ouvrir ne suffisent pas à faire circuler l'air, je ne sais pas ce que ça peut donner en plein été (nous y étions en avril).

“Good for the money”

It was very clean. The tub had some trouble draining, but it wasn't bad. If I was staying long term or didn't want to eat out a lot this place is perfect. It is much bigger than a normal hotel room in NY too.

“Good, honest value for money”

The outsdie and the hallway of the apartment block were a little shabby but once inside it was ceratinly big enough and spacious enough for the two of us. Onlly a few blocks from 5th Avenue ,Grand Centre Staion and Times Square. Basic but clean, quiet and relatively bright and airy, the studio apartment had everything we needed and our stay was comfortable.

“Inexpensive, nice, clean, roomy place to stay”

Stayed there 8/17/07. More of an apartment building than hotel, which was fine for us. Room key was left with doorman and check in was strictly after 2pm. Room was very clean and a decent size, very small kitchen, which was adorable and glasses, plates & silverware were provided. Comfy bed. Also had a sofa bed, table, tv etc... A.C could have been colder but it was better than the 90+ degrees it was outside. Several blocks away from subways, which if you like to relax in your room in between subway rides to different places, it can be a hike.

“Adequate , preferably for longer stays”

Good location, but no tourist services nearby. Staying for 2 nights only, we did not make use of the kitchen or dining area. The bed was not comfortable, definitely needs new mattress. No body soap, no shampoo, no hair dryer, nor any other bathroom frills. Our apartment did not even have any shelf or hook to place bathroom items on, not even around the sink itself. No housekeeping service, which is OK for 2 nights, maybe a problem for longer stays.
