“New York, New York!”

Great vacation in NYC. This hotel was awesome and really comfortable. Relatively close to Central Park and 72nd street subway station (great to go to Times Sqaure or Madison Sqaure Garden [MSG]). Great restaurants in the surroundings!

“Very comfortable boutique hotel in ideal New York location”

On the Ave is a delightful hotel. The bed is extremely comfortable and the linens of the finest. The air conditioning functioned well and the lobby proved to be a delightful place to wait for friends - with piano playing in the afternoon.The concierge and other staff were very helpful and responsive.

“Excellent Location!!! . . . Great Service!!! . . . The Best Bed!!!”

My wife and I stayed for a week in this hotel over the new year and I have to say that we were very satisfied!! . . . The bed was so comfortable and the room was well appointed . . . the hotel staff were extremely helpful . . . we arrived at the hotel at 9:00 AM and they let us check in (6 hours early!) . . . our maid did a wonderful job and she was very friendly . . . The roof top patio was great and offered a nice view of the upper west side . . . I will stay here from now on when we travel to NYC!!!

“Great location”

OTA is a great hotel with an excellent location (Upper West Side). The rooms were large for NYC and very quiet. There are lots of nice restaurants and shopping nearby. The subway is also just two blocks away- easy access to the rest of Manhattan.

“Great!”

Loved this hotel for the price! We were close to a subway, restaurants, coffee shops. We have stayed in this area before- in fact right across the street, and we loved this hotel 100X more than the other! They also had nice amenities in the bathroom- soap, shampoo,etc. The only 2 things I could ask for improvement on are - robes in the room, and a little more soundproof. Not that I am complaining, but those would make this place even better!

“Upper West Side Treasure”

On the Ave was conveniently located near the History of Natural Sciences Museum, Central Park, the Metropoliton and Subway station # 72, which saves a tremendous amount of money and time to get anywhere in Manhattan. We would definately stay here again, the concierge was delightful.

“nice play to stay”

I really liked this hotel. Its close to Central Park and the Museum of Natural History. Really nice neighbourhood..like out of a sex and the city episode! The rooms are small!! But the bathrooms are huge. No counter space for putting on make-up and doing hair, which I worked thru, but was a pain in the butt! Overall, it was clean and modern and comfy. I would stay there again.

“Great Location!”

A great value! This hotel was incredibly clean, very comfortable, modern and stylish, and the service was super. The best part, though, was surely the location -- just off Broadway, near good restaurants, shopping, and not far from the subway.

“Great value, great location, great time”

We spent a fair bit of time researching hotels to stay and decided on the Upper West Side as our location of choice. We selected On the Ave because of location and price. We were pleasantly surprised by the location, the decor of the lobby, the free internet access in the small business centre, our room (which was small, but had all the amenities we needed and was quite) and the concierge support we took advantage of several times. To get around, we either took the subway or did a lot of walking and this location is a great spot to be based out of.

“Perfect Place”

Perfect place for a mother and daughter trip to NYC. Great location on the Upper West Side, friendly staff. Small hotel with attentive service. Very comfortable beds! Would definitely go back.
