“Very impressed”

This was a lively Hotel but not to hectic. The room was of a very good standard. The whole family were extremely impressed by the helpfulness of the Hotel staff. The only minnor irritation was the level of noise produced by the aircondition unit in the room.

“Close enough for comfort.”

People were great and very helpful. Our decision to stay in NYC was done at JFK, yet we were very happy with the last minute choice. Close enough to entertainment, yet not caught up in the middle of Times Square crowd. I was able to relax, and take the kids to great places during our short stay.

“Highly recommendably”

The hotel is very well looked after and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The room was a bit small for three people, especially as there was only a very small wardrobe. The AC was simply not good. The gym though was exceptional: perfectly looked after, superclean and on the topfloor. To sum it up, the staff (!), the gym and the service (we got fresh tea, coffee, shampoo etc. every day) would make me to choose the Marriott East Side again and again. Thank you for making our holidays so pleasant!

“Best Holiday Yet.”

The only way I can explain this holiday was to say that it was fantastic. The hotel was great, the New Yorkers were great. The sites and attractions were amongst some of the best I have ever seen. New York is a place that everyone should at least visit once in their life times. We have been to LA and Vegas, and I would say that we met more of "The typical American" in those two places, than in New York. It was so much more relaxed than we had expected it to be. The weather was great, which helped enormously, especailly as we walked most of the time. We did use the subway a couple of times, as we did the buses and taxis, but just so that we could have that experience. In the five days there, we saw everything that we had planned to see, with some more thrown in. Our choice of hotel, Marriott East Side, was spot on for it's location in relation to the attractions we most wanted to see, and it was a two minute walk from Grand Central Station, which is a place you must visit. The shopping is good, although you have to really look for the bargains. To eat out is expensive, so you should look around. The drink is also relatively expensive. On the whole, we, as a family marked this 10 out of 10.

“Excellent”

My stay at this hotel was outstanding, I would go back in a heartbeat! The room was great, the service was great, sometimes the elevators can be a little slow, but otherwise it is an excellent hotel. The best part is that just about anything you would want to see in Mid Town is within walking distance.

“I loved this trip!”

The location of this hotel is perfect for a great weekend in NYC. In walking distance to tourist hot spots (Rockefeller Center, Times Square, Radio City Music Hall, and one block from the tour bus pick up); and surrounded by great little restaurants and cafes and life like real New Yorkers live it.
