“I will Go Back”
This was an older hotel, but very well kept up. My room was very clean and the biggest room I have ever had in New York City. The location was also great! The staff was very helpful!
“Best deal in NYC”
We stayed the weekend before Christmas 2009. The hotel is in a great location for exploring mid-town and the surrounding neighborhoods. It's close to shopping; has a great, if limitied, view; has a wonderful and helpful staff; is very near a good diner and we loved it. Also - it was so much fun to be there during the big snow storm!
“Ideal Manhattan Base, Can't Wait To Use Again”
This was my first holiday abroad and I was a bit apprehensive about the whole thing. My sister and I were very impressed with the location and photos online of the Suites and we weren't dissapointed when arriving. The Murray Hill East Suites are warm, very clean and extremley inviting and we could not find one fault with the place. Rooms are cleaned daily to a very high standard, all staff were helpful, I only apologise I didn't get to tip the day doorman before we left as he had already left for the day when we checked out, he couldn't do enough for us THANKS!! We are planning to go back later in the year and will definatley be booking back in here! Centrally located with all essential amenities at hand this place is a must stay! Check out Bloom's Diner round the corner, the food is to die for!!!
“Great Location”
Murray Hill East was in a great location, close enough to walk to many sites and Grand Central. The hotel staff was very kind and courteous. The room was large and comfortable. The bathroom is a bit small. The only problem encountered was the elevators (only 2) and can be quite slow during peak times. Well worth the price. I would recommend this hotel to any one of my friends or family members. Would definitely stay here again!!
“Great Loncation”
Stayed at this hotel for one week. Great location, between Lexington and 3rd Ave. The hotel is in more of a residential/business area. Three blocks from Grand Central Station with easy access to the subway system. You can take the shuttle to Times Square and the green line will take you to China Town, Litte Italy, and Ground Zero. Take the shuttle and from there walk to the Blue Line and get off at 81st St and you're right at the Museum of Natural History. Lots of places to eat right around the hotel. Pub and bars within a block and a half, but very crowded after work. Scotty's on Lexington has a great breakfast. Within walking distance to many attractions in Midtown Manhattan.
“Favorite NYC hotel”
Murray Hill East might not be the most modern hotel but it is consistently clean, comfortable, and a great value. I've been staying here since 2003 on a fairly regular basis. Although I have had to stay at other hotels once in a while, I always come back to Murray Hill.
“Hotel très confortable et bien placé”
Nous sommes allés à New York la semaine dernière et nous avons réservé une chambre dans cette hotel. Tout était parfait : la propreté, le confort et la taille de la chambre, et la situation dans Manhattan. On avait réservé une chambre de type "Grand Studio" et on avait une cuisine, un salon avec TV (chaines américaines) une chambre et une salle de bain... et une vue sur l'empire state building ! Seul point négatif (mais normal à New York), c'était un peu bruyant la nuit.
“I'll keep going back to this Hotel”
Reasonably priced clean spacious rooms with kitchen facilities, and location, location, location: just blocks from Grand Central Station with plenty of restaurants and groceries within easy walking distance. I've stayed here twice, and won't bother looking for another NYC hotel. This is the place for me.
“Best Choice!”
The room we stayed in was very large for the price with a full bedroom, kitchen, and living area. The service was exceptional. Although this hotel doesn't have the luxury appeal, it was perfect for a long stay. It was very clean. I love the pillows! I would certainly come back again if I were staying for more than just a few days.
“Great location and value, large clean rooms”
My family of 4 was impressed with the size and good condition of our one bedroom unit, our rooms were large enough that the four of us were not tripping over eachother. The galley kitchen provided the second sink for morning and bedtime routines and a fridge always comes in handy in the summer. The AC was adjusted perfectly for our group and we never had to fiddle with controls. The desk attendants sent up a hairdryer as soon as we asked and were helpful in suggesting a local pizza cafe, which was quite good. We had an excellent stay and would not hesitate to visit again or refer our friends.
