The floral photographs on the walls are original signed works by Robert Mapplethorpe, commissioned by the hotel in 1985 and considered priceless today. Black-and-white checkerboard tiled bathrooms are stocked with designer toiletries.

“Will return on next trip”
Service was really special - could not open lobby door without immediate help from staff. Bathroom a bit small but adequate. Bed linens wonderful. Great restaurant adjacent to lobby with excellent breakfast and helpful waiters.

I found Morgans to be the most welcoming, comfortable hotel. I had a suite on the fifth floor, which was quite spacious and impressively equipped. The bed was extremely roomy and very comfortable, it seemed that the linen was changed every day. A full bathroom with plentiful towels and toiletries. There was a hair-drier, iron & ironing board, plug adapters.Room heaters that really work. The living room on the 4th floor was a real boon, with coffee and tea from 7am, with a computer on hand to check ones mail. Breakfast is taken on the ground floor in the restuarant, which is a delightful room. It is buffet style with plenty of everthing to hand. As everywhere within this delightful hotel, the staff are readily on-hand to toast your bagel, bring you a complimentary newspaper. I found Morgans to be the most delightful hotel, superbly located with ever-pleasant staff. Thoroughly Recommended.

“Manhattens No1 for style”
- Perfect location (within 10 mins walking of Empire State building, Grand Central Station, Rockafeller Centre, Times Square) - Room was small but in but comfortable - Complimentary breakfast gives you a good start for the day
“Brilliant for a Single Female Traveller”
Morgans Hotel is superbly located in Madison Ave just a few blocks from Grand Central. I felt very safe there as a single female traveller. The front desk staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. They have a 'living room' on Level 4 which allows free wifi, a lounge area, work area, coffee/tea/cold water, television. This was a great space.

The staff were really nice and very helpful. The place was really nice. The breakfast was always really good, high quality. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a nice place to stay. Felt like whom with the modern feel of the rooms.

“Great Service”
Morgans provided great services from the moment our taxi pulled up in front. The room was very nicely furnished and comfortable, but it was the people who made us feel special and welcome. We will stay here again on our next trip.
“Pleasant surprise”
At the check-in we have been pleasantly surprised as they upgraded us to superior room. Hotel stuff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast could be a bit improved, as they offer only bagel and croissant. Location is great and it is in a quite area. Would stay there again.
“the best kept secret”
the hotel was a surprise to myself and my partner when we checked it. The lobby was small but the staff was efficient and courteous. Our room was large, for NYC standards. Well appointed and very minimalist in design ( which i love). They had a well appointed living room with computer facilities for all to use. THe complimentary breakfast was adequate for our needs. Above all, it was just far from the maddening crowd but close enough for cab rides ( cross island would cost you $7). The service was immaculate and just the very kind of hotel service i am accustomed to in five star hotels. A definite recommendation to all.. FOr such facilities, they should charge more
