“Enjoyed my stay and would go back again.”

I think it was recently renovated and the interiors are very nice, clean and spacious. I didn't use them myself but the room was very well supplied with kitchen stuff. I think for the price of the hotel we got an awesome deal. One block before the hotel there's a bus terminal and looks a bit sketchy by night. Not unsafe anyway and you can always walk on 42nd instead of 41st street!. I could walk from there easily to times square, a couple of metro lines and lots of food places on 9th street.

“better then expected. Very plesant stay”

Room was better then expected. although it was missing a few little things (mirror and toilet roll holder in bathroom) it looks like it was a newly renovated room and may still be needing a few final touches. Location was central only a block from the subway and 2 blocks from time square. plenty of restaurants close by as well. It is a little noisy next to the bus terminal. the noise was more soothing then keeping us awake at night plus you are in NYC its going to be noisy anywhere. Overall very pleased with this hotel and would stay again

“Canadian Visitor”

I found it to be less like a hotel and more like an apartment. I didn't expect that, but was pleasantly surprised, though it seemed some of the residents didn't seem that pleased. The concierge were fantastic and the rooms and beds were great! I found the quality for what you paid was great and would definitely recommend it to folks who would like to stay for a bit in NYC. The location was great as well for the hub of Midtown Manhattan and easy to walk to Broadway and Times Square.

“Nice Place for Families”

Perfect hotel for families wanting to be close to times square. The mini kitchens help you save money on restaurants and the walk to Times Square, the subway, broadway and other great spots is easy.

“Can't beat the quality you get for the price!”

Perfect location. Walk to Time Square, subway station across the street. Good restaurants all around as well. Our room had all we needed and accommodated 5 of us... Three teenage Girls! Staff was helpful and got us whatever we needed. Would stay here again for sure!

Onceou check in you are on your own. Room service is very delayed, that's if they don't forget you called them!

I feel bad writing this review because of how understanding the staff were at my situation, however when I walked in to the hotel I was immediately unimpressed. Unfortunately the entrance I was told to go to (by a sign on the window) was probably not the actual hotel entrance, but it definitely made me second guess my choice of hotels. The security guy asked me for my driver's licence and credit card, but I asked to see the room first and a lady from the hotel took me up. She was nice enough for sure and talked to me about my trip to New York thus far. However, upon arriving at the room I knew within seconds that this would not be the place for me to stay during my trip. I was very unhappy with the quality of the room and overall cleanliness of the "Metro Apartments". I told the lady that I wouldn't be staying here and I would like a refund. We went downstairs and I sat in the lobby (much nicer than where I had entered), while the lady spoke with her manager. The manager agreed that I could have a refund which was definitely pleasing. I set about my way, had dinner and phoned Expedia to ensure that this was done (or going to be done more specifically). I really regret picking the "Metro Apartments" as it added a great deal of frustration and time to the beginning of my trip. I wouldn't recommend that anyone stays at this apartment. I was told that there are newly renovated rooms, perhaps it's worth checking out if you get one of these rooms, but I wouldn't.
