“Would recommend this hotel to everyone!”
Centrally located, very clean. My stay was very pleasant, will use this hotel next time I am in the City!
“Better than imagined!”
First visit to NY.I was extremely satisfied with the hotel. Great location, attentive customer service, wonderful room. Separate sitting area with desk and kitchette was a plus! Small lobby but hey, who stays in the lobby in New York! Would definitely recommend this hotel. You can walk to many attractions from this hotel.
“Great location!”
Perfect location, friendly and courteous staff. We were a short walk across the street to Radio City Hall and also Rockefeller Center. The room was small, however, for the amount of time that you spend in your room... we were fine with it. Another plus... pharmacy is located steps away from the hotel...great for late night snacks, beer and of course necessities. We will definately be back!
“Three sisters on a NYC get-away stay at the MCH and are very pleased!.”
We're three sisters-in-law on a NYC get-away weekend. We're in our late 50's early 60's and have very clean homes! (So we're fussy.) This hotel is clean, nice and easy to locate as it is right by Rockefeller Center Plaza. You can find that quickly on any NYC map. The location and price are the best thing about this place. It is centrally located to the island of Manhatten sites and shopping. We walked to church on Sunday to St. Patrick's and ate breakfast at Toastie's near the church. Felt very safe... very safe... even late at night. Would highly recommend for the reasonable cost.
“Ready to go back”
Great location to stay. Great little restaurant right beside the hotel. A convenient store close by.
“Great place, great location, great value”
We stayed for 6 nights, and this hotel saves you a lot of walking/subway rides because of it's prime location. Times Square, Central Park, 5th Ave high end stores, FAO Schwartz, Apple Store, NBC, you name it, it's within 10 minutes walking distance. Great proximity to lots of subway stations too, so getting around is super easy, even to get down to Grand Central station, Finance District, etc. Hotel room was very nice, modern bathroom, clean, good service, excellent value overall. The Rockefeller center plaza is literally across the street from the hotel entrance (30 Rock fans would appreciate some of the familiar scenes). There is lots to do in Manhanttan, and if we ever get to go back, I will definitely book at this hotel again.
“Great Location”
Small hotel but well kept and comfortable with very accommodating staff. Rooms are small but more than adequate for someone who's intending on seeing the sites and not spending a lot of time in the room.
“Good location”
It is situated and a good location in the city.
“Would stay here again”
The room was big compared to typical Manhattan standards, although small compared to typical hotel rooms. It was exactly as advertised, and not having a bathtub to soak my feet after walking all day was the only bummer. The staff were very polite storing our bags for us when we arrived on a red-eye and allowing us to check in a little early when a room became available. They also stored our bags for us on our final day as we had a later flight. The location was excellent, right across the street from Radio City Music Hall, St. Pat's Cathedral, and Top of the Rock. It is also an easy walk to Times Square and all the Broadway Theaters. Easy subway and bus access--super easy to get to LGA via subway/bus. The room itself was fairly recently remodeled and generally clean. I had to leave a note for more shampoo as it was not automatically restocked daily, but plenty was supplied upon request. A water cooler and bottles were supplied in the workout room so we could keep refilling for our daily wanderings without constantly buying water bottles. Overall a great place to stay.
“When in Manhattan this Hotel will be the top choice if price is right”
Staff very helpfull and friendly. Used and enjoyed fitness room. Bottles to fill with cold water in every floor is a great idea. Room is small but so well designed and arranged that it feels homey. WIFi is excellent, as it is having 2 phones in room (one cordless). All in all a great experience at the right price.
