“Stay here!”
Great location! Small (free) parking lot in back of hotel, but easy to find a spot. VERY SHORT walk to the #7 train. Our rooms were very clean, and the staff was very helpful.
“Would Stay There Again”
The hotel was in a great location: easy to take the 7 train into Manhattan. The hotel itself was not special, but completely clean, safe and pleasant. Ask for a room in the back, and you'll never hear the train. The neighborhood is also good, with several good restaurants: I especially recommend Pete's Grill and Chikurin.

Proche de manhattan (15 minutes times square). Excellent rapport qualité / prix. Le métro est juste en face, idéal pour découvrir New York. Personnel très agréable. Le seul point négatif pour moi, il faisait un peu chaud dans cet hôtel.
“Great Deal”
We were very impressed with the quality of this hotel for the money. Even though it is not in Manhattan, it is only a short subway ride from Times Square (10 minutes). And it is only a two-block walk from the subway to the hotel! The neighborhood feels relatively safe, though we always got back to the hotel before midnight. Please be aware that sometimes at night on the weekends, the subway only runs express trains and you may not be able to get off at the hotel's stop and will have to take a short cab ride. The room was small but not claustrophobic. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. Soundproof windows kept the street noise to a minimum. There is also a nice free breakfast (cereal, bagels, juice, coffee) in the morning. I am definitely going back.
“vraiment satisfaits”
Nous avons passé 3 jours à NY. Nous avons réservé pour 4 personnes. Petit dej copieux et à volonté (café jus orange ou pomme, Bagels, Donuts de chez Dunkin Donuts une référence!!, fruits, céréales, pains,...)inclus, WIFI gratuit, très propre et plutot chic. Metro ligne 7 à 5mn à pied et arrivée directe en 15mn sur Times Square, où il y a plein de correspondances. Quartier qui ne craint pas spécialement et de toute façon toujours du monde dans cet hotel très cosmopolite. Nous sommes rentrés en métro vers 23h sans aucune crainte. Rien à dire sur la propreté de la chambre et de l'hôtel. 2 grands lits. Sèche cheveux, Frigo, cafetière dans la chambre. Micro ondes dans la salle du petit déjeuner. Personnel serviable. Ménage et lits faits tous les jours. Petit parking derrière l'hôtel non fermé à clé mais surveillé par vidéo.
“Good price, clean room”
We (two grad students) couldn't afford a place in Manhattan, where our conference was held, so we stayed here instead. It was a couple blocks from the subway and reasonably priced. The room was cleaned well every day. I expected something shabbier given the price but it was actually a pretty decent place. I would definately recommend this hotel if you just need a quiet, clean room to sleep at night. The fitness room consisted of a treadmill, a recumbent bike and a weight machine, but they were all in good shape and there was never a wait. Breakfast was what you'd expect, the service was efficient.
“My hotel of choice”
I travel to New York about every other month or two and for the price the Laquinta in Queens has been perfect for me. It isn't right in the city but the train station is a block away and you can be in Manhattan right away. I have stayed at LaQuinta Queens a total of 4 times and already have a reservation booked for December. It is a quality and comfortable place to stay. It is very clean and service is good. The room is a nice size room not tiny and cramped like many you will find inside the city for double the nightly cost. It has a private bathroom also unlike a lot of the hotels in the city also. You will enjoy your stay very much. If you are a light sleeper then expect to wake up though throughout the night when you hear the train passing. But your so tired after the day in NY that you will sleep so good you won't even notice. I highly recommend Laquinta to anyone!!!
“Great place just outside the city”
This was a great hotel for the price. We were very surprised how quiet it was and how nice the room was. This was our first trip to NYC and I decided to stay here based on the reviews and we were not disappointed. The 7 train is literally 2 blocks away and it takes you right into Times Square. Having a nice/comfortable hotel room to come back to each night was such a relief. Would stay here again for sure.
